Temptress collection - traditional vibrator discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by Snozzberries

This was one of the first vibrating penetration devices I ever owned. It was also one of the most pleasurable, easy-to-use toys in my collection.

The hard plastic was a deterrent at first (after having a jelly dildo prior) but the tapered point at the end helped me find my g-spot. The motor is above the battery area, which makes it about an inch and a half from the opening where the base attaches. The vibrations transfer very well through the plastic and they focus at the end, making this just amazing for a clitoral vibrator. The end makes it very easy to pinpoint the spot you want to vibrate which is how I discovered the area that works best to stimulate my g-spot.

You can insert this toy up to the base, which is five and a half inches. The inch of base gives you a fairly good area of grip, but I preferred to hold it a little higher and only insert it a few inches for that g-spot play. It didn't slip out of my hand as much, nor did I worry about getting anything inside the battery case or accidentally switching the speed with the dial. The size is very moderate, being only an inch and a half wide. The size makes it great for beginners, especially beginners who like pretty toys. I only used it vaginally because of the shape; I wouldn't use it anally because there is no safety bulge or handle to prevent it from going inside.

The only problem I had with this toy was with the battery area. The metal piece inside that touches the battery was very prone to bending and moving which meant I had to straighten it and put it back the right way several times. Another thing is you have to use a C battery; this was the only toy I ever had that used more than AA and I didn't always have C batteries handy. The base also didn't always stay on well during active use and a there were moments when I would have to stop and re-set the base. These were rare enough not to detract from my overall love of this toy, though.

An added bonus to this toy is the dial-base speed setting. The noise isn't very loud even when you turn the speed up all the way. I was able to use it under a regular blanket and not have it be heard in the next room. I did several experiments just to make sure and nobody ever said anything.

When I had this toy, it was back when I had to hide my things from roommates. To clean up, I wiped it off with an antibacterial wet-wipe and put it back in my hiding spot. Simple cleanup for a simple toy. This toy is not waterproof so full immersion cleaning is not advised.

Sadly, the metal part on the inside battery area eventually did bend too much and break, making this toy pretty useless to me. I have other penetrating toys that I like much more so I just never used this one again after the inside broke.

For the price, this is definitely worth the purchase. I was sad when my old one broke and I I'll pick up another one eventually because I miss the simplicity. And the pattern. I love zebra stripes.
