First impression:
When I took the Flickering Finger out of the plastic package, I thought ‘Wow! What a cool looking toy!’ The way the toy moved was enough to get me excited to use it! The flickering movement of the ‘tongue’ piece is strong when I touch it with my finger, yet fairly quiet. The shaft is slightly bent and larger on the tip (good for G-spot stimulation). It’s soft and feels nice on your skin. Overall, my first impression was that this toy was going to quickly become one of my favorite clit stimulators!

I received the Flickering Finger, a black mesh storage bag and the USB charging cord in a sealed clear plastic bag (no instructions).

The strongest vibrations can be felt towards the tip of the shaft and at the ‘mouth’ of the Flickering Finger. However, with some of the settings, the vibrations can be intensely felt all throughout the toy.

Also, there are 12 vibration patterns. I included a video clip because at times it’s difficult to distinguish between the noise of the shaft vibrator and the noise of the flickering ‘tongue’. This made it a challenge to clearly identify and list each separate vibration pattern. Instead, I opted to share a clip of the patterns and the 'flickering tongue' in action. *The video clip is located at the top of the review. In the video clip, the toy runs through all 12 of the vibration patterns and then cycles back to the first solid vibration pattern heard at the beginning.

First Use:
I wanted to use the Flickering Finger alone first so I grabbed some lube and positioned myself on my bed. I tried out a couple of settings, massaging between my thighs with the tip of the toy and slowly working the shaft in. I definitely wanted more after a few minutes of wet vibrating penetration! At that point, I noticed that the ‘mouth’ part of the toy was angled down in a way that wouldn’t reach my clit unless I bent it back and held it. Once I had positioned it to feel the ‘tongue’ action on my clit, it felt wonderful! However, it was difficult to hold it in place with slippery lube, without pressing down too hard on the toy’s flickering tongue (which would stop moving) and without pressing the On/Off button. I decided to try the toy with my husband later that night to see if partner play would work better for me.

Further Experience:
That night I asked my husband to try out the Flickering Finger with me to see if he could make my second experience better. He started out by using its vibrating shaft as a massager for everything between my thighs and then slowly moved to my G-spot, which definitely got me going! He also had to bend the mouth end of the toy to position it properly, but before long I was receiving the full benefit of the vibrating shaft on my G-spot and the flickering tongue on my clit. It was amazing and had me squirming with pleasure! I am impressed with how stimulating this toy is but I was not able to orgasm using it exclusively. After a few minutes with the toy, I realized that I needed my husband's 'assets' to reach orgasm and after watching me get wet and almost climax with the toy, he was ready to go! So for me, the Flickering Finger makes a great foreplay toy with my husband! Although there is a concern with the placement of the clit stimulator part of the toy, it is flexible enough to be placed into the correct position, and I believe the immense pleasure you receive from the vibrating shaft and flickering tongue more than makes up for it!

I feel that the follow-up response of 'I don't like it as much as I did at first' would fit better here than 'I still like it'. But I didn't want to choose 'I don't like it anymore' because that is not the case. I still think the Flickering Finger is highly stimulating and pleasurable. However, with the positioning issue I experienced (difficulty in positioning the toy properly for clitoral stimulation), I have used the Flickering Finger less and have been using other similar toys that work better for me.
