The shape of the head and shaft worked wonders for me, especially in the shower. However, the "clit suction" and vibration leaves A LOT to be desired. I would recommend looking for a different toy -you could do better.

Pros
Good shape, stimulating prominent head, waterproof
Cons
Stench, "clit suction" doesn't reach or do much of anything, not very quiet
The inappropriately named "clit suction" g-vibe was not all it was cracked up to be. However, it wasn't all terrible either.
This Topco toy is designed to stimulate both a woman's clitoris and g-spot simultaneously. The head is angled to a certain degree to provide g-spot stimulation while the the cup-like offshoot contains little nubs that were intended to stimulate a woman's clitoris.
It is best used for vaginal penetration and thrusting; though it could also be used anally if desired -but beware! This toy cannot be fully sterilized and is not made of one of the more safe materials. So, using a condom is advised if you share this with a partner or use it anally. The g-vibe claims to be able to stimulate the clitoris, however it seems as if it could not even reach mine (easily, that is). And, on the rare occasion when it did reach? Zip. Nothing. Nada. What a bummer that was.
The material of this toy is Cybersilicone, which Eden rates as a 6 out of 10 on the "Material Safety" scale. Don't let the word "silicone" throw you though, this isn't one of the safest materials to ever hit the planet -granted it's not the worst either. It is slightly porous, and as mentioned before, a condom is advised if you share or use it anally then vaginally.
As for the feeling of the g-vibes material? Great! Especially in the shower. But, for the smell and taste...dear LORD -talk about a stench and a half! After many washes the stench was successfully removed though.
There is some texturing on the g-vibe at the head of the toy that would probably suit beginners or those who enjoy a smoother feeling. Though, the only real texture you would feel would be the slightly prominent head. The shaft of this toy does not bend, so it is fairly rigid. And, since it is not made of plastic, but Cybersilicone it ends up being slightly squishy to a certain degree.
The little cup that protrudes off the shaft is, in essence, a cup that contains little flexible and bendable nubs. The cup itself is flexible as well and can also be bent back when adequate pressure is applied to it.
There is one huge flaw in this toy -the "clit sucker"! It will not reach, and on the very rare occasion it did, nothing happened.
The g-vibe's length in its entirety is about 7 1/2", with 4 1/2 of those being insertable. It has a diameter of 1 1/4" and a circumference of 4" and is only available in purple.
The shape of the toy, however, was actually very nice for me, though I am a fairly small woman. If you are a more experienced toy user or want a large toy -look elsewhere, this toy is not for you. I especially like the head of this toy. It is angled a bit and is a bit bulbous which provides the user with a bit of a "pop" sensation when inserting -fun! As far as the angle goes? It did reach and stimulate my g-spot (though everyone is different), which I am a big fan of. And, one of my favorite aspects in a toy...it's waterproof! That mixed with the material in the shower makes for a pretty fun time; dysfunctional clit sucker aside! It also has a wrist strap, but I personally found it to be a bit of a nuisance.
Since this toy isn't very large it could be hidden fairly easily. As long as you store it in something! It does seem to be a little bit of a lint magnet. Plus, with it being porous it's also a good idea to have it exposed to as little germs as you can. It is not discrete at all. By its very obvious phallic shape one could glance at it and tell instantly what it was. And, the sound is not exactly "discrete" either...nor the smell -yuck.
The operation of this toy is extremely simple and basic. It has a turn dial on the very bottom on the battery cap. You simply place the 2 AAA batteries in, screw the cap on securely, and turn the bottom of the cap. At its strongest possible level of vibration it makes quite some noise. Someone in the next room or two would be able to hear you. However, when on the lower settings it wouldn't be heard through a closed door with the TV on.
The vibrations are located more towards the head of the toy, which I feel is a rather poor design choice. Having the vibrations located more towards or in the little clit nub cup would be a more logical choice to have them properly stimulate a woman's clitoris.
As mentioned before, this toy is waterproof. One of my favorite features in any toy. Even when fully submerged under water in a bath tub it still is fully functional.
The g-vibe takes quite a few washes to keep it clean -more than some toys would need. It is made of Cybersilicone and IS porous. When you first open the toy you'll DEFINITELY want to wash it several times, since it emits a rather foul odor. And, since it is Cybersilicone, porous, and a bit of a lint magnet you will need to wash it after each use.
I definitely recommend storing this in something at least. Though storing it in some sort of easily shedding material would not be the best option. Opt for a box that made of plastic, cardboard, etc.
As a general rule with any sort of silicone toy it is ill-advised to use silicone based lubricants. Water based lube is where it's at for these guys.
I actually really enjoy using the G-vibe in the shower. I have since taken out the batteries and used it as a plain dildo in conjunction with a little pocket rocket. With both of these combined I was able to reach orgasm, and even have a g-spot orgasm.
Follow-up commentaryI still don't like it3 days after original review
I really wanted to like this toy. I've actually had it for about 3 or 4 months. I usually love dual stimulator vibes. But in this one's case it never really was dual stimulating, as it only was good at being a regular run-of-the-mill dildo.
The little clit cup never really even reached my clitoris, and even if you place your fingers on it you can tell there are little to no vibrations there at all. So, even if it did reach, the sensation wouldn't exactly be mind-blowing.
Though it does make a decent dildo, you could find one of a much higher quality than this toy. And, in all honesty, I'm not sure why I've not thrown it out myself since it is porous and can't be 100% clean; it's probably a bit icky now.
