Compact and Conservative...

The Compact 3.3 is a clitoral stimulator, made by Trojan. I would definately recommend this vibe for a beginning user. It's high quality, simple to use and should get the job done for someone new to vibrators. I used it to warm up and needed additional stimulation to climax, but I still enjoyed the toy. Really advanced users or clits of steel might find this vibe to be too weak, as there are three pulsing patterns and three vibrating functions. It is compact enough to be used with a second toy, or stimulation from your partner if desired or needed. Because of it's simple design and sleek carrying pouch, it is ideal for travel. It could even be slipped into a backpack or purse for on the go use. In addition, it can be used to tease all over the body...nipples, neck or any other sensitive area.

The tip of the Compact is made of soft and body safe silicone. It has mild ribbing around it to enhance the feeling of the vibrations. The ribbing could have been a bit deeper, which I feel would have made the three minimal speeds more effective in order to appeal to a wider group of users. The texture is perfect for a beginner, however as it is not too intimidating. There was no smell or taste to the vibe, which made me very happy. Nothing worse than a smelly toy! The base/battery compartment is made of smooth plastic. It fits nearly seamlessly to the tip once the battery compartment is locked in place.

The design of this vibe is sleek. It fits nicely and comfortably in the hand, making it very easy to use and control. It functions as described and expected, but I would anticipate nothing less from a trusted brand like Trojan. It's total length is 4 3/4", with a diameter of 1 1/4". This size is perfect for beginners, as it is not intimidating or too large. It is easily used with a second toy for insertion, if desired, as the design does not make insertion a very satiafying option, at least for my anatomy. The compact size makes it perfect for travel and is easy to hide if necessary.

The Compact functioned well, and as described. It comes packaged with the required single AA battery. The battery compartment is a bit tricky to open, at least for me. Once I got it the first time, though, I did not have any other problems. It operates via a push button at the base. Push it one to turn one, then again to change through each setting, then again to turn off. The control is straight forward and simple to use. It has six functions: low, medium and high vibrations and pulses. The intensity may not be enough for some more advanced users. The highest vibrating setting was most effective for me. I would have preferred a little more variety or intensity. The vibrations a low and quiet and the noise produced is very minimal. It would easily be muffled by covers or light background noise. It's compact size makes it very easy to conceal. I did not use this vibe in the water, but it features a locking battery compartment and did well when I washed it after use. It is only water resistant, though so keep that in mind when washing and using around water.

This is a very easy toy to care for. Close up the locking battery compartment and wash the silicone tip with soap and water, getting inside the small ridges. You can also use a toy cleaner or wipe. Make sure to also wipe off the plastic handle as well. The toy comes with a discreet satin drawstring bag for storage and travel. The tip does tend to collect a little lint, so be sure to keep it in the storage bag when not in use. Since the tip is silicone, this toy should be used with a water based lubricant, which will ease the touch of drag that can occur.

The Vibe comes packed in a compact cardboard box, which looks sleek and classy. The color matched the box matches the vibe and is appealing to the eye. It also contains product and company information. It's not totally obvious that the box contains a sex toy. An untrained eye would have to read the wording and look fairly closely to determine what is inside, in my opinion.
