Finally! A small compact vibrator that is small, delivers a lot of serious vibes, and can be used for not only clitoral stimulation but insertion as well! It's designed very simplistically, which I rather like in toys, with a very symmetrical bulged shaft that gives some great sensations when used. It is small, about the size of a computer mouse (maybe a tad bigger), but is just enough for some gentle play. The bumps are a great design feature as they allow you to take 'breaks,' if you will, during insertion.

One of the best things about this little baby however is that it is amazingly quiet, especially for something of its size and power level. They were right when they named it the Day Dreamer's Joy; it really is. I'm a fan of daytime play, but my living situation doesn't always allow that. Now, with this little thing, I can have loads of play without anyone being the wiser. And not only does it have some great vibes, but it also lets me have some insertion play if I want to, something most (if not all) bullets lack.

As if it couldn't get any better, this toy is completely Waterproof, allowing for shower and bath fun! Just make sure the endcap is screwed on tightly before play. And, one of the things I was most pleased with; it uses one AA battery instead of the usual two for most bullet vibrators. Amazing!

The Daydreamer's Joy is covered with Velvet-Cote, which is amazingly smooth to the touch, unlike most plastics. It doesn't catch on slick skin or dry, and glides along easily no matter where you put it. There were no unusual or unpleasant smells when removing it from the packaging, and I was delighted to discover the velvety coating is extremely soft and pleasant. Though it doesn't add any extra stimulation, it does make your normal motions much smoother and more enjoyable. Every girl should have one of these tucked into her bedside table drawer (or desk drawer, like mine!). It is small, almost silent, and very user-friendly, a great beginners vibe for those who want to try out a few different things at once.

I love how simple yet... elegant this toy is! It's entirely symmetrical, which is very pleasing to me as I love order; even the endcap and dial base meld right into the design of the toy! It is somewhat small, fitting in my open hand easily, and can be hidden even better in a pair of sweatpants or pjs, perfect for lounging around on your day off. Even more useful, this allows for easier storage and hiding.

As with almost every traditional vibe, this little guy is controlled by a dial base. It's a bit hard to do one-handed, but that simply means you won't accidentally turn him on or off, which is a plus for me. The vibrations are strong and never seem to lessen, even when my batteries are getting low, and they're consistently even throughout the whole toy. Even the wrong end vibrates, but not as intensely as the rest of the toy. It's surprisingly quiet, which I love. It's very easily masked by the hum of a fan.

This toy is one that stores very easily in our traveling toy bag. Our bag is a toiletry bag, so it is lint-free and easy to wipe out, which makes it great for storing sticky toys, but this little guy is even able to go with me in a cloth pouch. He's been all over; in drawers, bags, boxes. Lint free every time! I'm pretty clean when it comes to play time, so I normally don't need to do much of anything to get this little guy clean; just a quick wipe with a damp cloth or a toy wipe is all I ever do! I've not used this toy with lube, but it is good with both water and silicon based lubricants.
