twice the dildo and a half a rabbit - for my anatomy at least

This was my first rabbit. It's too Ultra for a get-in-the-mood toy, and the Tech slides into different positions too easily. It has good vibrations though.

Use

I think the Ultra Tech rabbit is used for scaring the real Easter bunny away. The toy is a massive yet enticing coupling of vaginal promise and clitoral wish. Both the dildo and bunny portion are designed well, though together they lack their esteem. The dildo is great for very large entry, vaginally, and for the daring, anally. The bunny is a nubby, tentacle ear-y, excited little guy. But if trying to reach the G-spot while fascinating the clitoris, your anatomy will have to be compatible with the Ultra Tech 4000 in a way that both mine and a friend of mine's are not.

The dildo features over five inches of insertable length with options to add either vibration and/or pearl rotation, from no to high intensity. The rabbit also has a bunny, which might be good for clitoral or anal play.

Material / Texture

I have the pink Ultra Tech 4000—which looks and smells like a Barbie's wet dream, down to the pearls you get from the neighborhood craft store. The Ultra Tech was given to me by a good friend, so I'm unsure of the initial condition of it; but it remains pretty similar to the pictures of it on EF. The vibe looks very self-important with its gold base, and it appears large and in charge standing aloof with its 10 inches of total height.

The toy is made out of jelly, which is composed of polyvinyl chloride and other unknown ingredients, as listed on the EF website: jelly sex toy material. The EF page says jelly should be compatible with water or silicone-based lubes. However, either due to the material and/or the water-based/water-soluble lube contact or time, the dimpling of the Ultra Tech has increased since I received it. The jelly is a bit sticky and is very soft to the touch.

The jelly of the 4000 hasn't split, as other reviewers have experienced, but it has taken on a bit of a dimpled head—probably due to some meltage or deformation. I really like the head of the dildo still, even though it's often too large for play; just to play with it in my hands is sort of awesome, with its wavy texture. The texture feels like frozen Jell-O or (*likely mood spoiler*) concentrated, chilled farting 'gak' putty—this stuff. I think the jelly head is great in the right, already-aroused moods. It's not a good starter toy for me, as the head sort of reminds me of an oddly firm yet limp, very large...something. The jelly head is too thick to transmit much of the vibrations powered by the dildo's basal motor. The vibrations are felt in the pearl area and below, as well as in the bunny.

The texture of the bunny is also jelly; however, it's of a firmer, thinner texture, feeling more like a soft bullet than its squishy-headed counterpart. The rabbit's thin skin is effective at transmitting vibrations housed in the bullet. The holes in the pearls are funny; I hadn't noticed until I read another review of the Ultra Tech on EF. They move fluidly and without 'running away,' as occurred for the user in this review.

The base of the Ultra Tech is a gold-painted plastic with an O-ring to keep the jelly and plastic separate, but there are NOT any waterproofing features. There are gaps in the battery cover, which is located on the back of the base of the unit, with a ribbon decidedly protruding from the battery cartridge. I'm not sure about the reason for the ribbon, other than to lay across the batteries for a snug fit. There are also no O-rings around the on/off switch, around the vibration and squirmy controls, nor around the rotation button.

The jelly material is very porous and should probably always be used with a condom, particularly if used secondhand. Condoms do not sacrifice much of the texture of the toy but feel pretty much like the toy does already.

Design / Shape / Size

The Ultra Tech 4000 was my first non-homemade dildo and is exceedingly large. The dildo of the rabbit stands nearly a foot tall with its half-foot-tall ears firmly upward climbing. I cannot use the Ultra Tech if I have not warmed up with something. I am of relatively average to small stature, and the toy is super-ultra large. I like the idea of the rabbit, but in action, the Ultra Tech is a bit of a challenge to use often—for me anyhow. Fortunately, the toy was gifted to me, and thus I have not felt let down. I have only used the rabbit a handful of times.

The toy is twice the size of a dildo that would be comfortable for me. The nubbed head portion alone would be great as a counterpart to the bunny. The 'extra' portion, from the pearls down, makes the bunny ears impossible to reach without inserting the dildo head to angrily bump into my cervix. Perhaps with more use, I could develop more of an appreciation for the size; but so far, the Ultra Tech is overly abundant in length while the bunny is set too far away. I prefer clitoral stimulation, so I had to use my pocket rocket along with the Ultra Tech to achieve orgasm. That proved claustrophobic for the lot of us. I would love to use the bunny, as there's a strong steady vibration in it; but it's not very accessible if used without the dildo portion (nor is it accessible with it). If I try to just use the rabbit portion for clitoral stimulation, the dildo is a very big third leg. The intrusion of the dildo part is far more unwelcome when trying to stimulate myself anally with the rabbit ears.

Perhaps the dildo portion would be enough for some if the bunny-can't-reach circumstance occurs or if they're more experienced and comfortable with insertable toys. G-spot stimulation remains a hands-solo requirement for me. Also, the bunny ears are almost an inch long, though they transmit vibration very well. If you want the bunny head to nestle your clit while playing, it's about four inches away from the head of the dildo. Unfortunately, the rabbit-dildo distance is usually too much of a nuisance for me to even get the toy out. The dildo is very girthy, with a potential upgrade in girth with the squirm and rotate function.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Ultra Tech 4000 has a range of speeds for the dual-motored vibration settings and for the bead rotation direction. There are two scroll wheels: one is for the vibration intensity (one control wheel for both the bunny and the dildo vibration) and one for the 'squirms' (rotating beads function). The scrolls don't fall into specific speeds but range independently from no action to lots of action. Unfortunately, the scroll buttons are very easy to slip up or down during play, as there are no 'clicks'—just a fluid more-or-less option. And holding the toy by the base means mussing up the vibration or squirm. There's also a rotate button that allows you to change the circular direction of the beads if the squirmy function is being used. The toy can be turned on or off with a separate button, but there is no lock button.

The squirmy motion ranges from none to about half of a full rotation a second (slightly scrolled up) to about four to five full rotations a second (fully scrolled up). I don't particularly like the rotating pearl function, so I don't appreciate that the squirm can't be turned to a locked off position. You can only scroll the squirms down, and that doesn't last since the controls are very easily moved by a stray finger during play. I tried a few times to not touch the base at all while playing with the toy, but the squirmy scroll somehow always got knocked and changed the sensations. Since the vibrations are hardly felt near the head, I didn't mind the vibration button being knocked. I didn't like the accidental squirm intrusion though. Fortunately, there is an on/off button for the whole toy that remains in a stable position if you are wanting to bypass the mechanical functions of the toy.

The vibrations on the toy are very intense but are sort of a deep buzz. There's a bullet in the rabbit; he's okay though and will tell you all about it if he/she can just reach your clit or lips. There's also a bullet in the dildo near the base, and the vibrations resonate to about halfway up the long climb to the pearls; but they are not felt nearly as much near the top.

I think the rotating pearl function is overkill too, at least for a girthy, lengthy rabbit like the Ultra Tech 4000. The beads on my toy don't stray from the clear, intended portion as this reviewer experienced. The beads sort of make a popcorn-popping-while-rotating motion. The rotating/squirmy function is very loud, and when used alone, sounds like a quiet dishwasher. The vibrator, when used without the squirmy function, sounds like a quiet electric drill. Together, they sound like quiet jets in a churning bathtub. The volume of the toy is a further reason for its neglect.

I really haven't used the Ultra Tech 4000 many times because of the unstoppable squirm and the length. However, it's been very punctual when used with a separate vibrator on a few ecstatic occasions. I think size queens would love this.

I've only felt the urge to change the four AA batteries twice and haven't noticed much of a drain during my limited use of the toy. Half-hour play occasions have not yielded any reduced power in either the vibration or squirms.

Care and Maintenance

There's no way of truly sanitizing the Ultra Tech 4000 that I'm aware of, other than buying a new one. The toy has been in pretty good condition for a few years, with two owners. I very gently use warm water and antibacterial soap over the top jelly portion and use condoms to protect from further degradation of the material. The jelly is prone to dimpling, so keep it in a cool, dark place away from other jelly toys. The toy fits snugly in most average wool socks or in a shoe box, but it would hog the confines of most purses—not to mention eat all the crumbs and perhaps turn on.

Packaging

I received the Ultra Tech from a friend, who had previously stored the toy in a sock. I have no previous knowledge of its whereabouts.
