This customizable dolphin can be used in many, many ways. And creativity will lead any purchaser to find more ways that I can think of. The shaft section is a standard dildo with rotation and vibration. The dolphin can go anywhere you want to have vibration, from clit to breasts, or anywhere, or for tantalizing a partner. My favorite is to remove the dolphin and have my husband steer the shaft and I'll work the dolphin around my clit to get vibration exactly where I need it. As another review pointed out, the lipstick style vibrator from the dolphin can be removed (with effort) and have it as a separate, intense and discreet toy for travel.

This is made of jelly, which is my favorite material that I've played with so far. The nice, fresh rubber becomes very slick with just a little water or lube. There was no scent to it out of the package. This particular formula is very soft, with a lot of give when squeezed. The head is smooth, and the first bit of the shaft is decorated with small hearts. The middle of the shaft has little waves going around the shaft, while the last part of the shaft has waves going along it. This last part houses the motor so it is quite stiff, but it's a hefty hands width from the top, so kudos to the lady who gets the third part inserted. The removable dolphin is made of the same jelly, along with the ring where it attaches to any shaft. As usual with jelly toys, it is kind of sticky, it certainly attracts lint and the cat hair that coats my house. I have to take extra care to keep gunk off it.

It will be interesting to see how the rubber holds up to time.

I like the design of it. The hearts are a little too sweet for my tastes, but at least it's not pink. Looking at it, there are some molding artifacts, but they are small enough they shouldn't affect performance. The abstract design helps me, since I'm not one who is too thrilled with realistic dildos. This is definitely not discreet, it's design declares to the world what it's intended for. The size looks to be quite comfortable; not big enough to be painful, but enough to get the job done. For those that need a lot to be fulfilled, this might not be enough.

Because of the relatively small design, it would be a great beginner rabbit. I think it would be great for playing with a partner, where one could steer the clit stimulator, and the other can work the shaft. I think it would also be a lot of fun to use the clit stimulator on other dildos, depending on what I'm in the mood for.

I'm not thrilled with the design on the battery compartment and the controls of the shaft. The way the battery compartment is built doesn't seem very sturdy, and there doesn't seem to be any seals on the buttons to keep stray lube or other fluids out of the controls. Be careful to use clean hands on the controls. Also, it is a royal pain getting batteries into and out of it because of the super tight fit. A millimeter more length inside the compartment and a pull cord would help changing the batteries.

The controls on the vibrator are wonderfully simple; one button, and keep pushing it to increase the vibe. The main controls are nice and big, and the tip of the shaft wiggles in two directions and vibrates at two intensities. The clit stimulator is noisier than the shaft, but not by much. With the TV on at a moderate level, I could barely hear it on full blast a foot away, as long as I kept a hand on the battery compartment, which rattled when it was on vibrate.

The batteries have a good lifespan on them, it didn't have any problems over an hour of use. I'll update this later with a better estimate of battery life.

When I finally quit looking at it and started using it, wow, that dolphin was epic! Using just the stimulator alone was enough to get me to come very nicely. I wasn't as thrilled about the shaft, but it also got me where I wanted to go. The vibration of the shaft was nice, but nothing spectacular. The rotation didn't do it for me. I don't know if not inserting as much would help get the rotation on my G-spot. The hearts and waves added an interesting sensation as I worked it in and out, but after extended use it started to feel too rough. I would have liked smoother transition between the bumps and the core.

It looks like I'll have to be quite careful to keep liquids out of the controls of the shaft. One problem with all the ribs and the way the stimulator comes off, it leaves lots of little nooks and crannies for things to stick, so cleaning takes longer and you need to be extra thorough about it. From my experience with other jelly toys, I'll make sure to keep it separate from my other toys to keep the rubber from discoloring, and causing other toys to melt.

The instructions don't go into a lot of detail, and the graphics are to a 4 AA battery model. It took maybe two minutes to get batteries into it and fire it up. To get the cap of the clit stimulator on, peel back the jelly around the tail of the dolphin. The packaging is a simple box with some details about the product.

Using this, I realize how used to I've become to my other rabbit vibe. This dolphin will do the job, but it doesn't have some of the bells and whistles and feel that I'd like. I feel like I'm in a room full of chocolate thinking the chocolate could be darker: it's still chocolate! Maybe the feel of the orgasms wasn't quite what I would have liked, but I still got there.
