Austra arrived in the unmarked cardboard box, with only the toy and brown paper for safety during shipping. Upon opening the box, I saw the beautiful sleeve that the toy was cased in. Underneath the sleeve, there is a sturdy white cardboard box. Pulling off the lid, I finally got to see Austra for the first time. With its textured head and flared suction for the clit, I thought it was absolutely beautiful.







The Austra toy, with its G-spot stimulation and clit sucking action, is an interesting toy. Upon first inspection, it is silky smooth, as is most silicone. There is no odor, and I think it smells quite pleasant. There was no distinguishable taste. I immediately wanted to feel the suction, so I plugged it up and let it charge. After it was done charging, I messed around with the buttons. From top to bottom, the buttons are as follows:

Teardrop: Manual suction, you hold it, and the clit stimulator sucks for however long you want it to

Heart: Hold for 2 seconds, and the stimulator comes to life once more. This time, you press the button, and one of the seven different suction modes will start up. Even after turning off and back on, the toy will still be on the last selected suction mode. To turn off, just hold it for 2 seconds.

Circle: Hold for 2 seconds to turn on. This button controls the G-spot stimulator. It moves up and down (under the textured head), with 4 different speeds to choose from. Similar to the clit stimulator, it also will be on the last selected mode, even after turning the toy off. To turn it off, hold the button for 2 seconds.



When in use, the light on the toy is blue. When charging, it is red. After a full charge, the red light disappears, waiting for you to turn it on.

After the toy was fully charged, I unplugged it and started messing with the buttons. The settings are fairly easy to use and easy to reach. I turned on the G-spot stimulator to the highest setting, and couldn’t even hear it from across the room. The clit stimulator is a little louder, though, but still barely audible. After the sound tests, I finally was able to insert it. The toy is about the same length as an average 16.9 fluid ounce water bottle.




I lubed it up (with water-based lube, of course, never use silicone-based lube on a silicone toy!), inserted it, and turned it on. Without even moving it, the stimulation to my G-spot was immense. I tried moving the toy in and out as well, but I preferred to leave it in the same place. I had a bit of trouble with the clit sucker, so I ended up turning it off. The suction is very good, and it’s very flexible, but I couldn’t get it positioned correctly for my own anatomy. Leaving it in the same position while manually stimulating my clit brought me over the edge. This toy is a good toy if you want to squirt, due to the G-spot stimulation. I didn’t have a towel down, so I couldn’t really “let loose,” but trust me. If you want to squirt, this is the toy for you.

Ever since the first use, I’ve been playing around with the settings, but I haven’t found my go-to yet. All of the settings are great, and they complement each other nicely. I have only used Austra by itself, but I do plan on using a butt plug with it. While I couldn’t feel the texture of the head, I’m sure that it did a lot for me subconsciously.

The head has a motor and piece inside that moves up and down (similar to someone doing the “come hither” motion). The clit sucker has 7 different suction modes (or a continuous mode, by using the teardrop-shaped button) and the G-spot stimulator has 4 modes.

The orgasm that I had with this is still to be unmatched. The only thing that would have made it even better is if I had actually squirted (I didn’t set down a towel). I’ve found that leaving the toy in one place and manually stimulating my clit really works for me. You don’t need much lubrication for this (if you use my method), because you’re just inserting it and then taking it out later.
