Dual climax - bullet discontinued by WHK GmbH - review by Sticky Fingers

The Shivery Climax Fantasy Series dual control power pack egg and nodule bullet with plug-in jacks allows you to have vagina and clit stimulation with one single control. When I looked at ordering it, I was looking for something that my wife and I could use that could add to our lovemaking session.

Well, our first attempt wasn't very successful. After both of us had a stressful workday, I cranked up the blender and lit the grill. We had a great steak and a couple of drinks a piece and were getting ready to retire to the bedroom for a little fun and relaxation with the new toy. I had already cleaned it and only needed to install the batteries. Well guess what? When I installed the batteries, I couldn't get one of the jacks to work. The evening wasn't a waste, we went to plan two and enjoyed the night. I sent a message to EdenFantasys and they promptly replaced it with a new one. When I arrived back from vacation, I found it in the garage (where the mailman left it) waiting for us. I took it upstairs, cleaned it and installed the batteries and it worked perfectly. After showering and having a couple glasses of wine we headed to the bedroom to try it out.

The Shivery Climax dual control power pack, the egg, and the nodule bullet are all made of hard plastic. The nodule bullet is covered in nubs while the egg is slick. While you can feel the nubs on the bullet, it feels like what it is, hard plastic which really doesn't do a lot for added stimulation. The bullet does provide a good amount of vibrations. Since this dual pack has both nubbed and smooth areas, it would be suitable for someone who likes either or both. It has two plastic coated wires approximately 24 inches long that are attached to the egg and nodule that plugs into the control. The packaging does imply that this pack is 100% waterproof and latex and phthalates free. There was no smell or taste to the plastic. I did stick my tongue to it after washing it just to see for the purpose of this review.

The design is rather traditional and I thought it was okay. I feel that the Shivery Climax would probably be a good toy for someone just starting out because it's smaller size may be less intimidating. The nodule bullet is approximately 3 1/2 inches to 4 inches long and 1 inch in diameter while the egg is approximately 1 1/2 inch long and 3/4 of an inch in diameter. The control is a approximately 4 1/2 inches long and 1/2" X 1/2" square piece which houses 4 AAA batteries that are not included. It has finger-tip indentions on both sides that helps in holding on to it. Even though the toy consists of three different parts it is small enough that it could easily be tucked away in a small pocket in your suitcase or in a lady's purse.

The control has a dual control switch that allows you operate the bullet and egg individually or you can operate both of them at the same time. The switches are a ribbed dial type switch that are very simple to operate. The design of the control with the indentions on the sides makes it easy to hold and to turn off and on even when you have some lube on your hands.

Once the control is turned on, a single speed vibration is delivered to the desired destination. While the vibration is single speed, it is a decent vibe. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give it a 6.

We also felt it was a little noisy.

While the package states this is waterproof, I did not submerge it completely in the water for cleaning. The plug-ins and wires don't look sturdy enough to prevent water from entering. It seemed to survive splashing it with warm water and antibacterial soap but I only splashed the wires, bullet, and egg. I wiped the control panel down with a warm wet cloth and dried all parts. There are areas around the knobs that control the functions that look like water could easily enter the area where the batteries are stored. I stored it in a cloth bag after cleaning it up, with the batteries removed.

The pack arrived in the traditional plastic container. It had all the information provided on the cardboard piece of paper used to tell what it is. There were no instructions regarding battery insertion or jack connections, although this was not hard to figure out. The label stated it is 100% waterproof, and is phthalates and latex free. You could use the plastic case as a storage area if you chose, but I prefer cloth bags that my wife makes.

The batteries were a real pain to install and to take out. That may have been part of the problem that I had with the first one they shipped. The compartment is so tight it is hard to put them in or take them out.

While we had great sex will using this toy we would not rate it as one of our favorites. The difficulties with installing and removing the batteries as well as the single vibrating speed and the noise level all contribute to our feelings about it.
