Double Trouble-Double Pleasure

The Double Trouble, despite its flaws, stimulates some amazing pleasure. I love the sensation, but I have to work around its pitfalls. I still use it, and I like it--- a lot! Hubby and I just have to use it in the bedroom when we have more privacy; I don't rotate the direction of the beads; I store it away from other toys, and carefully wash it with antibacterial soap before and after each use. The g spot stimulation makes it worth the double trouble for me.

Use

I have developed a love-hate relationship with this dual vibrator, Double Trouble by California Exotics. It's name speaks for itself. I was initially impressed as the bead rotation instantly stirred sweet pleasure inside me. Finding a rabbit that actually fits your personal anatomy can be difficult, but Double Trouble aligns perfectly for me. I have a shallow g spot, and the beads rotated just where they needed to be. The rabbit ears also tickled my clitoris in perfect harmony with the shaft. I have incredible orgasms every time I play with this rabbit. The pleasure turned to trouble as the "non-jamming" beads began to jam. I later discovered that some of the plastic pieces that were designed to prevent the beads from jamming, were broken. I don't rotate the direction of the beads any more, and that seems to alleviate some of this issue. The other trouble is that the motor is loud and sounds like a popcorn popper as the beads are rotating.

This toy is for a couple to use as foreplay, or solo. I suggest this for more experienced users that prefer texture. A beginner might be intimidated by the bulkiness of the beads and larger girth. This little bunny needs it's home in the bedroom, as it's not waterproof and can't take the shower.

Material / Texture

The Double Trouble is made of soft jelly and textured with soft hearts along the shaft. The jumbo beads at the head of the shaft provide intense texture as the beads are about 1/2" in diameter. The bunny ears that tantalize the clitoris are very soft and flexible, and the bunny's head is a squishy jelly that together make a gentle vibrator for that sensitive sweet spot. The tip of the shaft is flexible and rotates slightly with the beads.

The base of the toy is made of hard plastic and is shaped for a solid grip just below the bunny. The bottom of the toy is a soft rubber that has gentle push button controls for operating the toy.

The jelly is porous and should be used with a condom or not shared. It can be cleaned with a toy cleaner or mild antibacterial soap. This is not waterproof so it can not be used in the shower.

Design / Shape / Size

The design of the toy was perfect for my anatomy. The g spot and the rabbit vibrator both hit their targets. The girth of the bead portion of the shaft is about 5 1/4 inches, which could be intense for some; but I personally prefer a toy with larger girth so I thought it felt wonderful. The tip of the toy was the only portion of the toy that was flexible, and I found that a rocking and twisting motion worked well for me while inserted in my vagina. The beads had a tendency to grind against my pubic bone if I tried to thrust with it. The control buttons were conveniently located underneath the shaft of the toy, and this is also where the batteries are placed.

This bunny likes to stay at home, in it's own special hiding place; it doesn't appear very discreet when traveling.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Double Trouble is a double pleasure toy with a motor inside the rabbit and the shaft. The shaft rotates at the tip in the direction of the beads. The rabbit has two levels of intensity, high and low. The four controls, which are located underneath the base of the shaft, are two on/off buttons for the shaft rotation and rabbit, one for the direction of rotation, and the other for the vibration level of the rabbit (high or low. They are easy to reach and operate with a thumb or finger while in use, and I was able to maintain a good grip on the base.

There is a soft bubble of jumbo beads that rotate, along with the tip of the shaft for stimulation of the g spot. This feels wonderful, but there is occasional jamming of the beads, even though they claim to be non jamming.

The rabbit tantalizes the clitoris with it's soft, jelly ears. They tickle in just the right spot, with moderate vibrations that allowed the internal and external climax to erupt simultaneously.

The toy sounds like a popcorn popper with a loud motor when the beads are rotating. When inserted, the noise is diminished a bit, but could possibly still be heard through a door. When the rabbit vibrator is used alone, it isn't very loud, and is a little more discreet.

If you're looking for a toy that will perform in the shower or tub, look elsewhere. This one is not suited for the water, and care needs to be given while cleaning so that you don't get the base wet.

The batteries are easy to insert. The base twists off to remove the battery pack. It requires 4 AA and the direction for placement is marked in each slot. An instruction sheet, as well as a photo on the back of the box, helps to quickly educate you on placement when your new toy arrives and you want to try it out right away.

Care and Maintenance

This toy is made of soft jelly. It is a favorite for it's gentle flexibility, but it is porous and cannot be sanitized. A condom or gently washing it before and after each use with an antibacterial soap is recommended. This is not suitable for sharing or for anal use.

The Double Trouble should be stored where is cannot touch other toys, or a chemical reaction could cause this bunny to have a meltdown. I keep mine in a set of plastic drawers and I have long, slender plastic drawer organizers where I keep each toy separated.

I personally used a lubricant with this toy, and it is only compatible with a water based lubricant.

Packaging

This toy came in a colorful box with photos of the toys actual size, and a scantily dressed model on the front. The back of the box has a photo of the battery pack and button controls. Inside the box, the toy was loose, but wrapped in a sheet of bubble wrap. There is a sheet containing instructions for use of the toy and battery placement. I will probably throw the box away, but it could be used to store the toy hidden in the bottom of a drawer where it wouldn't be easily discovered.

Follow-up commentary
It's a shame this one was discontinued. Even with the jamming, I really like this powerful rabbit. It just fits my body shape (which so many rabbits don't "meet" in the right spot), and is great for the times when you need a quickie.

Beads that jam suck, it's part of why I tend to avoid rabbits. I'm glad to hear that, even with it's flaws, you still enjoyed yourself for the most part.

Wonderful review! This baby sounds great. Pretty color too. I hate the jamming beads! My rabbit did that and sounded awful. Then it died and never worked again. This sounds like a decent vibe. Thanks for the great info about this one.
