These dual pleasure eggs are... eggs-ellent! Eggs-traordinary! I'm positively eggs-tatic!

Truth be told, while waiting for these to arrive, I was having doubts about my choice, but I'm glad to be proven completely wrong. I've had bullets and eggs in the past that turned out to be total duds, but I honestly couldn't be more pleased with these.



Items of Eden's own brand tend to come with very minimal packaging, I've noticed-- usually just a kind of plastic bag or slip to keep them from getting any surface/cosmetic damage, and then paper all around for a little padding, to fill the shipping box. Part of me wishes there were a little more by way of packaging, just for peace of mind, but this is more of a nitpick than true criticism. I guess the upside is that there's a lot less waste this way, which I can certainly get behind.

Pulling them out, I did almost have an incident with my cat. To be fair, of all my toys, these look the most like the toys I get for him. I had to inform him, firmly and gently that, "no, not for you!" I'll have to be vigilant, if I don't want to find chewed cords and a smug bastard on my bed one day.

Aside from this, I was surprised at how weighty these felt, considering they're described as 'plastic.' I thought the whole body of the eggs would be plastic, but there's actually a thin layer of silicone (or, what FEELS like silicone, it's only described as 'nonporous') on the outside, like a kind of skin over the plastic inner shell that contains the motor. So, these eggs have a high-quality feel right from the first touch!

Eden loves hues of purple and magenta for their toys, to the point that when I get a toy from them in these colors, I feel a little like Pavlov's dog, like I'm slowly forming positive associations with various shades of purple. I'm sure the truth is purple is just a fun, appealing color that isn't quite as heavily gendered as some other colors. That is to say, I like the deep, plum purple of this toy. Very easy on the eyes!

Taking a memo from Eden's own sizing standard, this is the size of the eggs next to a standard magnetic stripe card, a gift card in this case. I found them to be just the right size for me, in a way that's hard to quantify, necessarily. I found it best to just leave my undies on, to hold them in place, one inside, the other resting between my body and the undies, and the way it fit me body meant it barely budged, and stayed right where I wanted it for the most part, so I had one hand on the little bitty control pad, and the other subtly manipulating the external one.

Realizing that this toy is actually USB *powered*, and not USB *rechargeable*, like some of my other toys, meant I had some problem solving to do before it arrived. I have things like little phone blocks that can plug into wall outlets, but what if the cords were short? I could use the toy at my desktop, but I really prefer to be laying in bed. I finally figured out the best solution, and felt like a complete GENIUS for it.



Portable charger! This thing is a life saver for a whole lot of reasons! This is probably my most, uh, creative usage of it, however. I think I also used it to recharge one of my other toys when I ran out of USB inputs on my computer tower. It's getting a LOT of use lately, it seems.

The controls are super simple, one off and on button toggle, then a second button for cycling through vibration patterns. I'll never have much personal use for all the various patterns they program into these toys (maybe with a partner, having lots of patterns could be fun), but what surprised me is that some patterns are asymmetrical-- the two eggs means two separate motors, that can be vibrating at different intensities form each other. And they are pretty strong little motors, too. Holding one in each hand while cycling through the patterns left my hands numb, the vibes were so strong!

That said, Easter came early, and so did I. While not necessarily very intense, while playing with these, they gave me a surprise orgasm that washed over me out of nowhere! I had been feeling good, but I usually experience more build-up than that, so to have a sudden, really nice orgasm all of a sudden without my usual tells was... I mean, surprising!

And the best surprises do come in small packages.
