We received the Holly Vibe on my husband’s birthday. We were excited for something new for the night. I was excited that we got the blue one, as it’s my favorite color. I examined the toy. It seemed pretty hefty for the little thing that it is. The outside was very smooth, and the surrounding material had a little bit of give.

Later that night, I ran to find the AAA batteries required to find only two (the toy needs three). So, we raided the calculator. The Holly Vibe would work for a few seconds before it would stop. We were getting so upset; it was definitely a tease. Needless to say, the frustration almost killed the mood.

The following day, I bought a new pack of batteries and gave it another try. The Holly Vibe needs brand new batteries to work appropriately. A little bit of water based lube is perfect for this toy. When outside the body, the buzz is pretty loud; inside, you can still hear it, but it’s muffled.

It took a bit to figure out how to change to the different settings. Once on, you hit the Auto part of the button to switch between settings. My personal favorite is the wave. I got more pleasure from the Holly Vibe with clitoral stimulation than vaginal. My husband liked to be in charge of the controller. We used it for foreplay and also during intercourse.

We both like this toy. My husband has already mentioned using it during a blindfolded session or a handcuffed session. I’ve already thought of using it in the tub while he is on a business trip. It’s a good little toy, if it has fresh batteries, so keep some on hand. I give this toy a four of five stars. For vrooms, I give three out of five. For buzz, I give three out of five as I don’t think I could pass off the buzz for my cell phone if necessary.
