The unit carton is really modern and cute. It's pink with green accents, and when you open it up with the magnetic flap, it's green on the inside. The box reminds me of those hipster wine bottles from World Market or craft stores. The wand sits behind some carboard, you pull a tab like opening cereal, and it comes right out.

The silicone is super soft, it feels like velvet. The head is removable, it's the same effort for peeling a mandarin. It's got some weight to it, but I didn't find it hard to handle or hold.
