I felt like I want to try it right away; I was curious about how it feels and what it delivers.

I tried it solo, yes, and I tested the vibration modes one inch deep at a time to see how strong they were. I did it in my bedroom first, but I admit I took one day at the office and, in the evening, when there was no one around, I used it and it gave me a sweet feeling of danger and adventure, it was awesome.
