For the Undercover Vixen

Being as spontaneous as I am, I love being able to have a sexy rendezvous on a whim. Discreet vibrators are my friend! I like to carry one in my purse at all times or in my clutch for a night out. The new mini vibrator by Heart to Heart is amongst the most discreet vibrators I have even seen. It is disguised as a red lipstick. I would not be embarrassed having someone go through my purse, as long as they didn't want to put on that shade! I recommend this product to all women.

The entire lipstick vibrator is made of smooth and hard plastic. This plastic is phthalates and latex free, hypo-allergenic food-grade material. The metal looking portion is plastic painted metallic. This may chip over time. The material has no smell or taste and will not have dust, lint, hair, etc sticking to it. Plastic cannot be sanitized and the design of this product isn't suitable for use with condoms. Don't share this product.

This mini vibrator isn't just discreet because it is small or it externally looks aesthetically like a tube of lipstick. It moves like one too! It has pretty much the exact dimensions of a real tube of lipstick. It is only 3 1/2 inches long and a little less than an inch wide. The tube is rectangular and has a clear cover that comes off as if to use the lipstick. The realism doesn't end here either! To use the vibrator, you actually twist it like an actual tube of lipstick. The lipstick is a vibrant red and the top is rounded as a used tube would look like. When twisted up, the lipstick portion raises out about an inch. Even though it is made of plastic, the lipstick looks fairly real too. If I hadn't seen this prior to using it and it was thrown amongst other tubes of lipstick, I would not be able to pick this out as a toy. You can stick this vibrator any place you would put cosmetics.

To use the vibrator, remove the clear plastic cap and twist up the vibrator like you would a tube of real lipstick. The vibration doesn't start until it is twisted all the way up. There is only one setting. The vibrations are strong for such a small toy. I wish I could say that it remained as discreet as it looks, but the noise level is higher than I would like. It is discreet to carry and travel with as well as leave out, but using it in a public area or close to others is out of the question. My boyfriend was two rooms away and could hear this when it was on.

It was easy to turn on and off. While using the vibrator I found it provided a good amount of vibration directly through the tip. This felt great clitorally and on other external areas, like the nipples. I ran into a problem though. Sometimes I could not get the toy to stay on. It seemed that it had to be in a certain position to stay on but it didn't lock into place. Sometimes I could not turn the toy on at all. I had to remove the battery and put it back in. This makes me think that the contacts are bad or the design is poor.

This toy is not waterproof, so be careful to not get it wet. Remember this when cleaning as well.

The battery compartment of this toy is hard to use. It feels cheap and was hard to connect correctly. This may be why the toy was so finicky. I'm not sure though. The bottom has a plastic disc that twists out. A single AAA battery (that is provided) slides in. Getting the disc to fit back in and lock correctly was difficult.

Cleaning this toy is a bit tricky. It is not waterproof and because it is like a tube of lipstick in function and shape it can be hard to clean. Using water on the lipstick part worries me because I would not want it to drip further down into the motor compartment. I would take a lightly damp cloth to wipe the contact points with anti-bacterial spray. Replace the plastic cap and store.

The packaging is very minimal. It comes in a plastic package that closes together. It doesn't come with any instructions. I wish it did for inserting the battery.

I really wanted this discreet vibrator to work amazingly, but the more I tried the more frustrated I became. It looks AWESOME. And when it works, it works pretty well; but I could not get it to perform consistently. That is why I am giving this a regretful 3 stars.
