G for aGgravating?

Good vibrations, annoying straps. For short periods at a time, the Power G is a pretty good vibrator, but I can't see myself going out and about with this toy very much.

Use

The Power G Arouser is like medusa- pretty good vibrator, but with weird with entangling snakes around it. It is meant to be strapped around the legs and waist.

The vibrations are good for a user of any experience, but the vibrations are mostly felt inside. The tickler parts are okay for clit stimulation, but don't do very much anally. The description does say it only provides "slight anal attention", to be fair.

Personally I found this toy to be best if you're moving around, whether in the house or out. Because of the metal clips and snaps on it, sitting for long periods of time will leave imprints whereever there is pressure, and is also a bit uncomfortable.

Material / Texture

The Power G is made of Thermal Plastic Elastomer, which means it has no phthalates in it. This also means it's a little porous. The main bulb is smooth, but doesn't give very much when touched. The two "tickler" sides of it are a little more flexible. The ticklers protrude out like little leaves on a flower, and the bumps on them does add a nice texture for clit stimulation.

Design / Shape / Size

I like toys that are fun colors, and was excited to get a new purple toy. I liked how the ticklers felt on my fingers and was eager to try it. The main bulb is not too large, just a little rubbery feeling. With a little lube it can easily slide in.

The bulb is also relatively short and is shaped to stimulate the g-spot. The hand-held remote is a standard vibrator remote, and could be a bit smaller. On mine, the back panel of the remote kept falling off at the slightest touch, and since I first tried it without bottoms on, I had nowhere to put the remote except in my cleavage.

The toy is discreet, though, otherwise. The vibrator is not very loud, and if you find a discreet place to put the remote, you're good to go. I found the leg/waist straps to be incredibly annoying, and would not recommend anyone sit in one position wearing it for very long.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The vibrator is controlled by an attached remote, that is attached at the bottom of the device. The remote is a simple slider somewhere around 1.5" by 4", and less than an inch thick. It seems to pulse a little on lower settings. On the highest setting is a good, steady vibe.

Unfortunately, barely any of the vibrations came to the clit stimulator. I found it more interesting to wiggle around to get the clit tickler to be at all useful. The Power G is very quiet. With any sort of noise in the room at all, you can barely notice the vibration sound.

Care and Maintenance

There are quite a few limbs to this toy, which makes it a little difficult to store. It does not come with any sort of case. I usually end up just shoving it into a corner of my toy drawer, and hoping it doesn't unravel and tangle up around my other toys.

Because of the material, I wouldn't recommend sharing this toy, unless you want to try to put a condom on it. Though, with the odd shape of the toy, I don't know how a condom could fit over it. You cannot boil it to disinfect it, and with all the metal clasps on it, cleaning it is not easy. I have to pull back all the straps and wires when cleaning it, so that I don't get any metal parts wet. I wash it with soap and water.

Experience

Today I played with the Power G arouser for a couple hours. I got it out, washed it, put a tiny drop of lube on it, and pushed it inside of me. It felt okay. Then... I had to strap it on. Strapping it on was a bitch. I couldn't even begin to try to do it standing, so I laid on my back and tried to figure out what strap went where and how.

Finally, I managed to untangle the thing, and snap all the snaps on. It all seemed mostly right, but walking with the power G was weird. It didn't feel stable and I kept worrying it would get pulled out, by a strap pulling on it the wrong way.

I tried using the toy on different settings while sitting and walking. Sitting, I needed to keep wiggling to not get numb, and to get something out of the clit tickler. The vibrations were nice, but I never went over the edge with this toy. It was just a nice distraction.
Follow-up commentary
I barely use this toy, unfortunately. Every time I've tried using it, I just find it uncomfortable and awkward. It was my first strap-it-in toy, and it's almost turned me off to that "genre" of sex toy. I may try getting something different in the future, but with such a disappointment in this toy, I'm not so sure. It's a shame, too, because the vibrator seemed pretty good... everything else was just... difficult to work with.
