Emerald studs G-spot - g-spot vibrator discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by Katie & Co.

Long ago, when I was new to the world of sex toys, a well meaning boyfriend purchased a monster green vibrating dildo for me as a gift. I took one look at it and ran the other way screaming. Well, not quite screaming but you get the idea. Needless to say, I have always had an aversion to green toys after this event, but I am proud to say that the Emerald Studs G-Spot by California Exotics may have just cured my fear. This is my first g-spot toy, and I was quite keen to see what all the fuss was about.

Arriving home after work, I met the mailman at the mailbox and was so pleased when he passed me the simple, nondescript box from New Jersey. I rushed in and ripped into the box and was immediately impressed. The Emerald Studs G-Spot was packaged quite tastefully and came with user friendly instructions.

As I opened the container, I did notice a slight, but not unpleasant odor to the toy, which quickly faded after washing. The vibe is made of squishy, semi-flexible jelly, and the motor is located almost at the tip of the toy. Popping in two AA batteries was a cinch, and replacing the cap was much simpler than with some of the other toys I have experienced. There is only one way to get it back on; no worries about lining up the grooves wrong.

Upon firing up the vibe for the first time, I was immediately blown away by the power of this toy. The Emerald Studs G-Spot has two buttons on the base, one on/off and one to rotate through the ten functions. The only complaint I had about this toy was the fact that the buttons can be a bit hard to depress, especially during use. The highest vibration settings were enough to make the whole toy quiver and make my dog run in from the other room to see what the noise was.

Grabbing my favorite bottle of Durex Play More, I was quite pleased with the way the toy handled lube. It was quite easy to coat, and the textured portions held just enough without it globing up.

The toy warmed almost instantly to body temperature, and I was quite eager to test out the different functions along my clit. With the motor located so close to the end, the vibes transfer very well through this toy. It is so powerful that the highest settings were just too much for me. Naturally, it wasn’t long before I was well ready to see if the curved tip of this toy would pack the promised punch.

For me, this toy was not the one to bring me to g-spot ecstasy, but along with my handy pocket rocket, it was more than enough to get me purring quite happily and provided me several nice orgasms.

After inviting a friend in for a round with the emerald, I would have to say that this toy is just as much fun for two as it is for one. She loved the curved tip, but it was still a struggle to rotate through the settings while using it on her. She raved about this toy and said it is absolutely the best she has every used. Overall, I give the Emerald Studs G-Spot four stars simply because, for me, rotating through all the settings was a bit more difficult than I like. I also rate this toy four vrooms and four bees. I highly recommend this toy, but I’m not sure if I would agree with the description of a beginner toy. It is quite large and very powerful but extremely fun.
