It's easy to press when you're wanting to change functions, but isn't accidentally bumped during use. When you first turn the toy on, you're immediately on the first setting. Each click brings you to the next function and will continuously cycle with each press of the button, unless you hold it down for three seconds. By holding down the button, you're powering the toy off. When the toy is turned back on, it starts at whatever the next function would have been if you hadn't turned the toy off.

The vibrations are very buzzy and can be felt throughout the toy, but are weaker in the battery cap area. Depending on which setting and how long you're using the vibe, it may result in numb fingers. When turned on, the clear area around the power button and about 1/2" down the battery cap illuminates in a way that mimics the setting you're on; it get brighter on the more powerful settings, and dimmer on the weaker ones. It also flickers at the same speed as the vibrations.

The sound level could be a little more discreet. It can easily be heard from under the covers, and can lightly be heard through a closed door. The packaging on this toy is tasteful in the sense that there's no nudity, but it is far from discreet or attractive. The box it comes in is plastic and is totally clear in the front, leaving the toy in full view. Surrounding the clear area are the product name, the company name, and a little information about what this toy features. In the background are some white, wispy swirls.

The sides and back of the box also have information about the toy. One side shows a full image of the toy and the other shows that it has an LED push button on the battery cap. The back give the key points of the toy in five different languages.

When the box is opened, you'll find a thin plastic tray that is easily pulled out. It's formed perfectly to the toy so that it doesn't move around in the box. Both the box and the tray are very flimsy and aren't suitable for long term storage. It can easily be broken down and recycled, since the information isn't necessary to hold on to.

When the tray is pulled out, there's a small instruction booklet in the bottom. It's very basic and tells you how to insert the batteries and has some tips on care. This information is also very basic and, unless you feel it necessary, this can also be disposed of.

Since the box isn't discreet or attractive looking, it wouldn't be the best choice to gift to someone unless done in private.
