The Chic Hide-a-Vibe by Cal Exotics is a two piece set consisting of a discreet case and traditional vibrator most typically used for vaginal penetration or clitoris stimulation. This vibrator can be used on general areas of the body for massaging purposes or on the nipples or around the anus for added sensations. It is not suggested to insert this vibrator anally because it does not have a widened base for safety. It could be possible to use this vibrator to massage your g-/p-spot but it won't work for everyone since it's not curved with that task in mind.

The size of the vibe is great for beginners but definitely won't satisfy a size queen in the slightest. The small size of this toy also makes it great for traveling with, especially since the case is included and makes it even more discreet.

The Hide-a-Vibe can be used before sex to tease and entice you, during sex to stimulate your clitoris while being penetrated or to make that double penetration fantasy come true or on your own for a quick and satisfying solo session. This vibrator should be wrapped with a condom if you plan on sharing with someone who isn't fluid bonded with you.

The vibrator and case are both made from ABS plastic with a PU coating, earning them a rating of 7/10 on the safety scale. This material is latex and phthalates free, rigid and has no real odor upon opening. It feels smooth and velvety and has a matte finish to it. The PU coating tends to pick up small amounts of lint and grabs slightly on skin so water-based or silicone lubricant is required to make it slide around easily.

This set is only available in white with silver accents.

The vibrator is a 6" long traditional style white vibe with a silver accent on the bottom half including the turn dial base. It has a 4 1/2" insertable length, 3 1/4" circumference and 1" diameter.

The case is just over 6" long and 1 1/4" wide on each side. About 1 1/2" from the top is a silver accent band that sits right under the removable top of the case. The cap fits very tightly and won't fall off easily.

There are no gaps or seams or any other noted imperfections in the toy.

The vibrator has a turn dial base for turning the toy on/off and adjusting the speed. The vibrations range from low to high when turned on and is quite powerful on full blast. This control is not lockable for travel so battery removal would be probably be necessary to avoid embarrassing buzzing in your luggage unless it's secure in the case that comes with it.

The vibrations are loud enough to be easily heard through blankets and just barely audible through a door so dorm use would not be recommended. You may want to think about something quieter for that purpose.

This vibe uses 1 AA battery to power it but I'm not sure if it will run on rechargeable batteries. I don't have any to test out that theory.

The vibrator is waterproof for easy cleaning but should only be submerged briefly as the battery compartment starts to take on a small amount of water after a minute or two.

To clean, wash this toy with warm water and antibacterial soap or a toy cleaner or wipe it down with a toy wipe. Do NOT boil or put this in the dishwasher as that will ruin the motor inside it.

To store this toy just toss it with all your others in the drawer, box or wherever you put them or keep it in its handy little storage case if you prefer.

The set came packaged in a thin plastic box with "Chic Hide-a-Vibe", "Satin Finish", "California Exotic Novelties", "Waterproof" and "Powerful Designer Vibe, Discreet Couture" on the front. The vibrator and the case are clearly visible from the front so it's not very discreet at all.

The side has a photo of the vibrator, the bar code and some small bits of information like "Battery Not Included" on it.

The back lists the same information as the front but has photos of the case and vibrator on it instead of a peeky window to see them. The bottom of the box lists the Cal Exotics website and some information about the material and how to use the vibrator. Inside the plastic box is a plastic insert that the case and vibrator are securely held in.

The packaging is not great for long term storage because it's bulky and somewhat flimsy but be sure to recycle it. It is also not very discreet at all so it should be wrapped if gifting.

There were no warranties or booklets included, only an instruction sheet on battery installation.

I was pleasantly surprised with the power in this vibrator even though it is loud and somewhat buzzy. It was still sufficient in getting to orgasm for me.

I was quite skeptical at how well this would work for me when I first saw it. I didn't think it would be powerful enough to get to orgasm and I didn't expect it to look as nice it does. I think I was expecting a cheap plastic vibrator like I'd been used to dealing with in the past.

So I opened it up and noted how velvety it felt, even on the case itself. I definitely had to use a bit of lube to get it sliding around but once I did it was a great experience. It was very pleasant letting it buzz away on my clitoris and then inserting it and rubbing my clitoris with a finger to achieve an orgasm.

I also made sure to scratch test it with a fingernail on the silver accent parts and found that nothing happens, so it wasn't cheaply made after all.
