I'm a huge fan of thrusting vibrators, so when this guy appeared on Eden, I couldn't resist. I had some reservations, mainly because I haven't had the greatest luck with CalExotics products in the past, but I'd heard some good things about their higher-end vibrators, so I figured it was worth a shot. (I also asked myself, "Do I really NEED another thrusting rabbit?"....and ultimately decided that yes, yes I did, haha) I was especially intrigued because the thrusting mechanism on this toy appeared somewhat similar to my very favourite thrusting toy, Eden's Petite Dual Thruster. However, unlike my beloved little Thruster, the Jack Rabbit boasted three thrusting speeds, multiple vibration modes, and vibrations in the shaft as well as the clit bunny. It was also larger than the Petite Thruster in both length and girth (without being TOO large for me). All of those features made it very appealing to me.

My new Jack Rabbit arrived in Eden's usual nondescript brown cardboard shipping box, with the sender listed as the innocent-sounding "Web Merchants Inc.," so those with privacy concerns can rest easy. Nosy neighbours or housemates will have no way of knowing what's inside your package from Eden. Inside this discreet brown shipping box, the Jack Rabbit was packaged in a very nice, classy box and sealed with shrink wrap. The box for the Jack Rabbit has an outer sleeve that features what appears to be a life-sized picture of the product, and the back of the sleeve has a diagram that breaks down the various features of the toy. It's informative and looks nice, though given the fact that it features a huge picture of an obvious sex toy on both sides, it's not very discreet. The outer sleeve slips off to reveal a classy white box that opens sort of like double doors, and has the words "Jack Rabbit Signature" in gold writing across the front. Aside from that, the inner box doesn't have any writing on it, so it's definitely more discreet once you take the outer sleeve off (although because of the way the inner box opens, the little "doors" don't really stay closed without the outer sleeve on to hold them closed). When I opened the little "doors" of the inner box, I found the Jack Rabbit itself nestled inside a molded plastic insert, and the inside of the box is colored gold, which looks very nice. Underneath the molded plastic insert that holds the Jack Rabbit, there's a little cardboard "drawer" that pulls out, and it contains the USB charging cable and a paper insert that has some basic instructions and safety information. They clearly put some thought into making the packaging nice and giving it a high-end feel (though it is rather bulky, so I'll probably end up recycling it, but it could be used for storage if you have the space).

Once I was done admiring the packaging, I finally turned my attention to the toy itself. The Jack Rabbit Signature Thrusting Vibrator is definitely a good-looking sex toy. It's a gorgeous, deep blueish purple color, and the silicone is soft and smooth and produced little drag as I ran my fingers over it. It does have a vague seam down the middle, which becomes more noticeable on the clit bunny (especially the bunny's "face"), but I didn't foresee it causing any problems during use. The clit bunny has soft, flexible ears that are angled downward, and the bunny also has a little nose projection. As with most eared clit bunnies, I fully expected the ears to overshoot my clit, but I liked the look of the bunny's nose and hoped that it would line up with my anatomy. The shaft of the toy is straight and smooth, except for the gentle ribbing at the trusting joint, which is just below the head of the toy. It has a defined, somewhat realistic-looking head above the thrusting joint. The shaft has an insertable length of roughly 5 1/2 inches, and a circumference of about 4 5/8 inches. The entire toy is about 9 inches long. The control panel is at the base of the toy and is accented with classy-looking rose gold plastic. The Jack Rabbit features three buttons: a power button on the top (turns the toy on and off with a simple push, no holding required), the middle button (which has two arrows on it) controls the three different thrusting speeds, and the bottom button (with a squiggly line on it) controls the seven vibration modes in the clit bunny. The shaft and clit bunny can be turned on and off independently; you can turn them on with a simple push, and you can turn off either the shaft or the clit bunny (without turning off the whole toy) by holding down each button for a few seconds. The head of the shaft also vibrates with a steady vibration when the thrusting is activated, and the vibration intensity increases when you increase the speed of the thrusting. The clit bunny has three intensities of steady vibration, plus four different patterns. While the vibrations are concentrated in the clit bunny and the head of the shaft, some moderate vibrations travel to the center of the shaft, while very little vibration can be felt in the handle, which I thought was great. I was immediately impressed by how quiet this toy is. Both the vibration and the thrusting are very quiet, even on the highest speeds. Often toys with features like thrusting or rotation can be a little on the loud side (which makes sense, as they have more moving parts), so the quietness of this toy was a pleasant surprise.

Overall, I was very impressed with the Jack Rabbit so far and couldn't wait to take it for a spin!

In preparation for our first date, I first plugged in my new toy and made sure it was fully charged, then took it off to the bathroom sink for a quick wash. As this toy is waterproof and covered in silicone, it's very easy to clean and care for. Silicone is rated a 10/10 on Eden's safety scale and is non-porous, hypoallergenic, and free from latex and phthalates. You can wash it with either a toy cleaner or mild soap and warm water. Since this toy has mechanical parts, you cannot boil it or put it through the dishwasher (the silicone would survive, but the mechanics would not), but if you feel the need to sterilise it, you can wash it with either a 5-10% bleach solution or rubbing alcohol (just be sure to rinse thoroughly).

After charging and washing my new Jack Rabbit, I took it back to my bedroom and went through my usual ritual of putting a towel down on my bed and pulling up a sexy story on my phone. I started out by attaching my Silicone Nipple Teasers to my breasts and using the head of my Eros (a small rabbit) to stimulate my clitoris and other external ladybits as I read. Since the Jack Rabbit is a bit larger than most of the toys I've been using recently, I wanted to make sure that I was nice and wet and turned on before I tried inserting it. The Nipple Teasers and the Eros did their job quickly, and before long I was feeling very aroused. I inserted the Eros and thrust it a few times to ensure that everything was comfortable and well-lubricated, then decided it was time to test out the Jack Rabbit. I applied a little water-based lube to the head (as with all silicone toys, it's best to stick to water-based lubes with this guy, as oil and silicone-based products can degrade the material) and then inserted the Jack Rabbit into my vagina. It slid in easily and comfortably. First I activated the vibrations in the clit bunny, and to my surprise, the bunny's ears were immediately hugging and buzzing my clitoris and didn't overshoot it like I'd expected. (My clitoris is quite close to my vaginal opening, so clit bunnies with ears very rarely fit my anatomy well.) I think the way the ears are angled downward makes all the difference. It felt great, even on the first setting (which is the lowest steady vibration intensity). Next I activated the shaft, and....oh my! The thrusting combined with the vibrations in the head felt absolutely amazing! I experimented a little with the penetration depth, first pulling the toy partway out so that the head was vibrating and thrusting across my G-spot, which felt awesome. Then I tried pushing the shaft in deeper, and somehow that felt even better! In another pleasant surprise, I discovered that I had no trouble keeping the clit bunny on my clit, no matter how deeply I inserted the shaft or how sharply I angled it. With the shaft inserted at full depth, I hit the thrusting button again to increase the thrusting speed and head vibrations....and about a minute later I had one of the most intense orgasms I've had in recent memory. Needless to say, my first date with the Jack Rabbit was a resounding success! In many ways, it felt kind of like a larger, more juiced-up version of my beloved Petite Dual Thruster, which was exactly what I was hoping for. The thrusting was energetic and powerful, and it didn't get slowed or bogged down by the contraction of my pelvic muscles, even when I was in the throes of orgasm (which is an issue I've had with some thrusting vibrator designs). I couldn't wait to play with my new friend again!

Further use of the Jack Rabbit has been just as good as the first time. I seriously lovelovelove this toy! I love that the shaft thrusts AND vibrates. The vibrations in the head of the shaft really add a lot to the experience. I have one other thrusting rabbit that has vibrations in the shaft (the EF Sensu), but I honestly didn't end up loving that toy for a variety of reasons (the biggest problem for me was how easily the thrusting got bogged down), and the shaft vibrations aren't very strong on that toy. The Jack Rabbit has much more significant shaft vibrations and the thrusting is MUCH more powerful. The Jack Rabbit's thrusting doesn't get bogged down, even when I squeeze it as hard as I can with my vaginal muscles. The Jack Rabbit is also a fantastic size, at least for me. It's thicker and longer than my other thrusting toys, and I'm finding that I really enjoy the extra length and girth. As much as I love my Petite Dual Thruster, I sometimes find myself trying to insert it deeper than it's designed to go, such that the clit attachment is almost bent completely backwards, and I sometimes worry that I'm going to end up breaking it one of these days. I'm thrilled that I've found a thrusting toy that can pound me deeper without having to abuse the toy. At the same time, it's not TOO big. I'm not a size queen, and any kind of vaginal discomfort is an automatic turn-off for me. The Jack Rabbit is that perfect size that's thick and long enough to feel filling and satisfying without causing even a hint of pain or discomfort. It's also really nice to finally have a rabbit with an eared clit bunny where the ears actually hug my clit as intended, and I don't have to mess around with bending the ears back or holding the body of the bunny down to my clit to have it make contact. The only even remotely negative thing I can say about this toy is that it's a little on the pricey side.....but I feel like it's worth the money. I used my reviewer discount, but I would have been thrilled with my purchase of this toy even if I'd paid full price.

I feel like this toy would probably work well for most people, regardless of experience level. I'd classify its size as sort of "medium" in terms of rabbit size. Most people should be able to take it comfortably vaginally (it could be used anally, as the clit bunny would prevent it getting sucked into your rectum, though it's a little large for an anal novice like myself). The vibrations on the lowest settings are relatively gentle, while the highest intensity is pretty damn strong, so it should serve most people's preferences well. The vibrations also aren't too buzzy, which I like. If you like thrusting rabbits or have ever been curious about trying one, I highly recommend giving this Jack Rabbit a try.

The vibrations are strongest in the clit bunny, so I've marked that as a 3. The head of the shaft also has pretty strong vibrations (especially on the fastest thrusting speed), albeit slightly less strong than the clit bunny, so I've marked that as a 2. The middle of the shaft picks up some moderate vibes from the clit bunny and the head, so that's a 1.

The orgasms I've had from this toy have been incredibly intense. In fact, they're some of the most intense orgasms I've had in recent memory. This toy definitely hits all the right spots!
