Ballistic mini - bullet discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by Kissy

The Ballistic Mini by Cal Exotics is a very basic bullet toy. It is a little guy that can be used to stimulate all your sensitive areas. It can safely be used internally (carefully), or externally, due to the string that is attached to the bullet. I prefer using this for nipple and clitoral stimulation though. That is where I see the most results!

This toy can be used for solo play or your partner can use it on you. It is fun because of the controller being separated from the bullet, you partner can control while you move it, or you control it while your partner moves it. Or of course, your partner can do both! The long cord allows for some fun teasing options!

This toy is surprising. It is good for advanced users or beginners alike. If either user is looking for a small bullet on a string, with easy to use remote and strong vibrations, here it is.

Plastic is on the safer side of the safety ratings. It has a strong 8/10 rating. Plastic is either synthetic or semi synthetic, it is non-porous, firm and carries vibrations well.

Plastic is one of my favorite materials. I like the smooth textures, and how easily it can glide against my skin with just a dab of lube. Speaking of, you can use oil, water or silicone based lubes on plastic.

California Exotic Novelties came up with a pretty simple design for this toy. There is a hand controller that controls the functions of this toy. It is easy to hold (ergonomic) in your hand and the button is right on the top. The battery location is on the back, just slide up to open. There is a string attached to the control with the bullet on the end. The string is 35" long so it is a nice length for movement. The string detaches for easier storage and washing/care.

This is a small toy, and very light in weight. It is not bulky, so it is great for travel or just hanging inside your purse.

I found the size of the controller and the bullet to be pleasant. It wasn't too big, and the shape in my hand was easy to operate. The bullet was small enough to rest in my vagina lips and stay put.

This toy is operated by a control pack on two AA batteries. It only has two settings. A low speed and a high speed. It is simple to use with just a push button style. The settings are pretty quiet, not to be heard out of the room. Personally, I couldn't tell the difference between the two settings. The settings are pretty strong and satisfying though!

This is only my second bullet of this style. So I can only compare it to the EdenFantasys' multi speed bullet. Here is my review: "Just Look Past The Flimsy Feel". When I compare the two, this one wins the race. I like the bullet size more, it fits in place better. It is a little less-thick and is shorter.

Oh, and I have to tell you! I found a trick to the toy! When you hold the button down ½ way like you are changing the settings - you can make it stop. So if you hold the button down ½ way and back up quickly you have a third setting! Like a pulsing on and off! I actually like my made up setting the most! LOL! I set it on the first setting to get me going, then I pulsate my way to happiness!

Plastic is a pretty easy material to wash and keep free of dirt and dust. It can be washed with an antibacterial wipe (like the EdenFantasys wipes) or can be washed down with soap and water is you are very careful! This toy is NOT WATERPROOF so you don't want to get it in the main controller battery portion. If you are careful, it should be fine. Plus, the hand controller itself isn't the one that needs the serious washing.

I store this toy in a satin bag I had around the house. It is with the rest of my toys in a toy box. This is a cheap favorite of mine so it stays pretty handy.

This toy comes packaged in a lime green and purple box. Some phrases from the box: “Ballistic Mini – Quiet and Power Packed” , “Versatile Plug-In Jack”, “2 speed Push Button” “Soft Touch 2 Speed Push Button Control”, “EZ-Grip Ergonomic Shape”, “Quiet and Powerful Vibrating Mini Bullet”. Yeah, with phrases like that this toy box is not discreet.

Inside the box you'll find the bullet and the control are separate pieces. To use just plug them in together and get yourself some batteries – because batteries are not included! Also, inside the box, you'll see that there are simple and easy to understand drawn-instructions of how to insert the batteries. This is a nice touch, since I have had plenty of toys where I was stuck - left to figure it out.

On the box was a website for product registration www.vibetronics.com. While I did not register, I thought this was a cool feature of the toy. This toy is made in China.

I was actually pretty impressed with the vibrations and power of this little guy! There was a lot of strength! I loved the size, how it just fit right in between my vagina lips and could stay put. I used my fingers to push the bullet up and down on my clit and it was very, very pleasurable. My second favorite way to use this was during sex. The bullet is so small, it fit nicely in between us. Overall, this bullet is a simple, cheap-y feeling one, but it is my favorite bullet so far!
