Rabbit vibrator discontinued

I tried to like it, I really did...

If I could get past the material, I would say this is quite a good toy. It has excellent vibration and rotation along with enough variance in settings that it has something for everyone. I hope Doc Johnson will consider making this toy in a silicone version - that I would buy. This one, however is just too yucky to mess with. I don't even like to touch it because it's always sticky and oily. Rather disappointing for such a great design.

Pros
Good range of settings; strong vibrations; hits just the right spot!
Cons
The material is just bad. It could definitely be quieter.

Unfortunately, when I opened the Priority Mail box and pulled Nikki's Please Vibrator out, I was treated to a big disappointment. Normally I don't judge a toy before I use it, but I didn't even have to take this one out of it's plastic clamshell package to know it was not going to be a positive review. First off, I could see the oil beaded up on the head and shaft. That is a bad sign. Jelly toys have a tendency to do this, but I've not previously seen it happen before I even received it. It was covered from top to bottom with that oily, stinky substance. YUCK.

I washed it repeatedly with antibacterial soap, as you should before using all new toys. It took four thorough washings before I felt safe using it, even with a condom. I put the included batteries in and went to turn it on. I discovered that the oily substance had gotten under the sticker that shows what setting you're on. It was pulling away and was quite oily, even after wiping it down. Again - YUCK.

The settings themselves are pretty good. It has ten setting for the rotation of the shaft from slow to fast. It has five different settings for the type of vibrations (i.e. pulsing, etc.) and ten settings for the intensity of vibration. It is actually quite loud, even on its lowest setting. I am fairly certain it is related to the beads in the shaft rattling.

As for the shape and function, it was actually pretty good. A little hard to keep covered (I had to use a condom and one of those rubber finger bandages) but good, none the less. The "rabbit" part with the bullet in it is shaped a lot like a narrow tongue with nubs on it. Flipped around, it provides quite an interesting sensation on the ass. It has quite strong vibrations - more than I was expecting. It is also flexible enough that I could keep contact with it even when gently thrusting. The rotation of the shaft and head has a decent radius that makes for good stimulation of the G-Spot. I prefer a little more girth in my toys, but the rotation made up for it.

Kudos for the design. This could be a great toy if it were silicone. Unfortunately, the smell and oiliness were such a huge turn off for me that I couldn't really enjoy it. I suppose that it could be a fluke and I might have gotten a "bad" one - but I somehow doubt it. Some jelly toys and I just don't play well together.

Oh that sounds disgusting! I wonder if that oily substance isn't the jelly already breaking down?
