I believe it has probably the second most visually stimulating shape for a sex toy|The lick – it’s in the shape of a tongue! (The first of course being a phallus.) This immediately put me in the mood for some fun – it was so very private and sensual.

If the shape hadn’t done it for me, one flick of the ball-point-pen-clicker-like switch certainly sealed the deal. This toy is powerful! And I do not mean “for its size.” I have had much larger toys that were much weaker. The concentrated power comes from the removable bullet, which is powered by an N sized battery. Let me tell you, that small battery packs a lot of punch! It is also very easy to replace, as it is located just under the on/off switch. The switch itself has a good design. I never accidently pushed the button during play. The bullet slides out very easily, but not TOO easy. It also allows for easy cleaning.

This toy is made IntraMed, which is a hypoallergenic and environmentally conscious material that is also really easy to clean.

Speaking of the on/off switch brings up one of the only negative aspects of this toy. It is only “on” or “off” – this does not offer a lot of control during play. It would be much more enticing with an interesting patterns of vibration for stimulation. And unless you have the presence of mind to create your own, no such thing is present with this toy.

It is also pretty loud, but I would expect that with the level of power this toy can offer. With light covers over me, I would feel comfortable using it even when noise is a concern. I do wish the Lick were more flexible. I expected the tip of the tongue to “flick” or be more realistic. More texture to the surface would be nice too.

Externally this toy was excellent! Internally it worked well, not a lot of insertable length – wish there was more to hold on to. It works very well as an anal teaser too, because of the small tip.
