Cunning rabbit - bullet discontinued by Shaki Toys - review by geliebt

PACKAGING: This came to me in a cardboard package with a molded plastic insert. Inside Eden’s shipping box, it seemed the Cunning Rabbit’s box had fallen open. The glue or whatever was used to hold it shut just wasn’t holding. This didn’t cause any problems, but it was a little weird.
Outside, you’ll find an image of a sexy-looking woman advertising the toy, so it is not discreet. There’s also basic information about the toy, but nothing really remarkable.

BATTERIES: The Cunning Rabbit runs on three AAA batteries. I haven’t yet found that it eats batteries or anything, but I’ll update here if that becomes an issue. The batteries are inserted into the remote, which includes a clear diagram of how the batteries fit. I noticed when inserting these batteries, they fit very snugly. I could get them all in, but it was a tight fit. The door to the remote is pretty secure. I haven’t experienced it slipping off at all during use, as it does take a bit of a push to detach it.

EASE OF USE/OPERATION: To use this bullet, simply insert your batteries and plug the jack which runs from the bottom of the bullet, into the remote. Then, press first on the lower half of the button to turn the bullet on. Then use the upper half of the button to cycle through the patterns. I really love that there’s a separate on/off button. It makes use easier in general, and if you need to turn it off in a real hurry, that’s no problem!

VIBRATIONS: I find the vibrations of the Cunning Rabbit to be really strong! I’m a big fan of strong vibes, and these can get to be a little too much for me sometimes. Even the lowest of the settings are pretty strong, so I wouldn’t recommend this to someone who’s looking for milder vibrations. These are also buzzy vibrations, not rumbly or deep.

There are 7 different patterns. Low steady, medium steady, high steady, escalating, pulsing, fast pulsing, and another high steady vibration. These are all fun and should cater to different tastes. To me, the last high vibration feels the same as the first high setting, so I dunno what that’s all about, but whatever.
Noise-wise, this bullet IS a little loud. In my experience, on the lowest levels this can not be heard underneath two comforters from ten feet away, so you can definitely use this on low and have no worries of being heard through a closed door. On the medium level, this wouldn’t be heard through a closed door, but can be heard through blankets. On high, this might be audible through a closed door, but is still pretty quiet through blankets and white noise. I feel comfortable using this in my home (I live with others) but I try to keep the TV up a bit and keep my blankets securely over me!

MATERIAL: The jelly casing around the hard plastic bullet is super squishy! I love how it feels, and the spiky texture is nothing to worry about because of this. But, being jelly, it does attract lint/hair. So like most toys, keep this in a separate bag to keep it clean, and keep it from touching other jelly toys and potentially warping. There is a decent bit of drag to the material, so you’ll definitely want to lube up first! Feel free to use any water or silicone based lube with this bullet. Clean the Cunning Rabbit with soap and water and/or your favorite toy cleaner. Do be sure to really get into the spaces between the spikes, as these can be hard to clean and you don’t want to leave anything behind on your toy. Also, please remember that jelly harbors bacteria and can not be sterilized, so I would not suggest using this for anal stimulation (and DON’T insert this anally!).

Right after I got it, there was the expected chemical laden jelly smell. However after a few washes and being stored in my toy box for a couple months, the smell is all but gone. You can smell it if you SNIFF the thing, but who wants to sniff a bullet anyway?

SIZE: The Cunning Rabbit is very compact, as one would expect. It measures about 3 ½ „ from the tip of the rabbit’s ears to the base of the bullet, and 4“ around in the middle. This is a toy that will store and travel easily due to its size, but be sure to keep it contained to prevent it picking up a bunch of lint and hair! The remote also doesn’t take up much room at all, measuring only about 4 ¼ inches tall and 1 ¼ inches wide (a bit hard to measure- the corners are rounded). All together, it takes up little room and is no trouble to pack away.

DESIGN: I was really excited to have a toy with such a lot of crazy texture like this, and I’m pretty much happy with it. I was just a bit disappointed though, as the spikey nubs tickle more than stimulate, for me. I do enjoy it, but the feeling is not entirely what I was expecting.
Another feature of this bullet is the little rabbit up near the top. He’s soft and squishy just like the rest of the sleeve. The rabbit does provide some extra variant on stimulation beyond the spikes. Use your imagination and run wild!
I find this bullet to be easy to handle. The drag on the material makes it easy to grip, though of course if you get lube on your fingers it gets hard to hold onto. However, this has never been a problem with me- I’ve had success with keeping lube off the bottom half of the bullet, where I like to grip it.
You can also take the jelly sleeve off the bullet if you like, since it’s very stretchy. So if for some reason you dislike the sleeve, you still have a nice bullet. Or of course, you can switch this sleeve with another!

EXPERIENCE:I’ve had plenty of fun with the Cunning Rabbit. It’s really on the „basic“ level of sex toys for me, but it’s great when I’m just looking for some quick, fun clitoral stimulation. The vibrations are really strong and I love that there are patterns as well. The controls are very easy to use, so far I haven’t had any problems with them. While I was expecting a little more out of the spikey texture, this was my first highly textured toy so I had nothing to compare it to. Despite that, I am really happy with it and for only $20, I would recommend this bullet to anyone.

I wish there was an option for "I like it slightly less."
As it stands, I don't tend to use this terribly often. As my collection has grown, I've just found that the vibrations this offers are a little buzzier than ideal. I also tend to use toys other than bullets, as well. It's still a decent bullet, just not a favorite anymore.
