G-spot vibrator discontinued
by BMS Enterprises

Likeable

The Loveables #3 is a waterproof G-spot vibe with a penis-inspired head that features realistic skin folds. This TPE toy runs on 2 AAA batteries, which give it rather uninspiring but functional vibrations. The strength of vibration is controlled by a dial base which takes it from a low hum to a strong buzz.

extremely useful review
The Loveables #3 is packaged in an easy-to-open clear plastic shell with a paper insert that describes the toy as neat, soft, quiet, and easy to use, as well as waterproof, multi-speed, and pthalates-free. The overall look of the #3 in her packaging is very simple and pretty.

Cracking open the plastic package, you'll find the #3, a little sheet of paper detailing the toy's one-year warranty, and a sheet of generic instructions on how to insert batteries and take care of the toy.

The #3 is a little less than seven inches in length, with just over five inches insertable. Its vibrating core is thin and rod-shaped, while the TPE sleeve adds texture and girth to the toy. The insertable portion starts at approximately the same circumference as the core, then slowly flares out until approximately halfway up the shaft, where the toy begins to take on the shape of a penis, complete with realistic skin folds. The head itself less like an actual penis head than it does a tilted egg. This angled point is meant for stimulating the g-spot.

The toy is made of TPE, which in this case is rather firm but has a little give when you press down hard on it. The material has a velvety feel when you run your hand over it as though jerking the toy off. The skin folds add an interesting ribbed texture, making the #3 a good thrusting toy. The head, however, may not have an angle pronounced enough for some women to achieve sufficient g-spot stimulation. I myself found the angle rather lacking and wished for more of a curve.

The instructions contain helpful advice for a sex toy newbie, but anyone who has used one or two vibrators before can toss the instructions. The battery compartment is opened by unscrewing the cap at the base of the vibrator. Two AAA batteries are loaded in single file. The cap is screwed back on, and the #3 is ready to buzz to the best of its ability. A waterproof ring around the base of the cap keeps moisture out of the battery compartment, should you choose to take this toy into the shower or tub. I have tried it in the shower and can be certain that the toy is shower-proof at the very least.

The vibrations are controlled by a dial at the bottom of the base. It moves independent of the opening of the battery compartment, so there is no fear of turning the dial too far and having the batteries fall out of your toy. At the very lowest, the toy is nearly silent and gives off a modest vibration good for teasing the nipples and perhaps the clitoris. At its highest, the vibrations are louder than a cell phone on vibrate and can be heard through a thin wall, such as those in a dorm, and are strong enough for ample clitoral and internal stimulation. As a lover of privacy, I would hardly consider its volume at its highest setting "quiet", but in the shower, this toy is virtually silent.

This toy is somewhat porous, so covering with a condom when sharing is best. It is compatible with both water-based and silicone lubes. To clean, use warm water and antibacterial soap, or your favorite toy cleaner.

The Loveables #3 comes with a one-year warranty from the manufacturer. To make good on this warranty, the toy must not have been damaged from failure to remove batteries from the compartment after use (this can lead to battery corrosion) or any other such misuse. The customer must send $15 (includes shipping and handling) to the manufacturer along with proof of purchase and the damaged toy. In return, the manufacturer will either send the customer a new replacement, or repair the damaged one.
Experience
There is nothing to hate about Loveables #3, but there isn't much to love, either. It's waterproof, pthalates-free, and vibrates... Great! I like the simple, pretty packaging and the fact that there was only a faint plastic/rubber smell coming from the toy upon opening the package. However, there is nothing that marks this toy as special. Its design is interesting, but it doesn't offer any unique function. It has no specific niche except as a g-spot vibe, and it didn't perform well in that aspect for me. The angle wasn't enough to hit my g-spot and I found more use for it as a thrusting toy.

So... there are toys I love, and there are ones I hate... Loveables #3? I find it likeable. It's a toy I'd consider getting a friend, but not for personal use.

As always, fab review. Sucks that it wasn't a fab toy. Sad face

Sammi-- You mean, rather than use the warranty? I agree... in fact, I'd buy a different toy altogether! Thanks for the comment.

Carrie Ann-- Thanks Smile Indeed, all that vibrates is not (necessarily) awesome, much to my disappointment. On the bright side--it didn't fall apart or electrocute me in the shower! That always brings gladness to my life.
