The silicone is nice and smooth with no odor. You can use waterbased lube with this toy and clean it up with soap and water or your favorite toy cleaner. It has a fair amount of power to it, and the tongue can power through most pressure. You can slow it down if you clamp down on it a little. It makes very little noise and does not buzz at all. The one negative is the fact that it does not have a slow lick option. It runs at the same fast speed but in different patterns. A nice slow lick option would have gotten this toy five stars.
