I've always been a big fan of wands. You can use them solo or with a partner. You can even put them in an inflatable pillow and grind on them to your heart's content! I have my go-to corded wand for never-ending fun and an older rechargeable wand when I don't want to be restricted to the length of a cord. When I saw this one, I was intrigued by the smaller overall size but the promise of strong vibrations that I've come to expect from wand-style toys. Here's a comparison between the Wow Wand and a traditional wand.



As you can see, this toy is definitely smaller than a traditional wand, but it does have the typical 2" ball at the top, so almost any attachment (see my review of the Magic Force Attachment) will fit it well. There is an insertable dildo side, as well, but honestly, I didn't purchase this toy for that.



For charging, there is a small port on the front of the toy, just at the base of the metal ring that separates the ball from the handle. It's easy to find and easy to use. Just plug in the charging cable, then plug the other end into a USB port. When charging, the buttons will flash a subtle white glow. When the glow stays on, it's time to play! In this picture, I've shown where to plug the charger in, but it's not fully seated.



The buttons are located on the back, opposite the charging port. The button at the top controls the ball, and the button below it controls the dildo end. Simply hold the button in to turn it on, then press it to cycle through various intensities and patterns. Each side has 10 patterns, with the first 3 being a steady vibration at different levels.

This wand is made from Silicone for that luxuriously smooth feel; just make sure you only use water-based lube. Before using it, I cycled through the various settings. At first, it didn't seem quite as strong as my other wands, but the slightly curved, textured body makes it easy to hold onto, and I was impressed with how quiet it was. Also, the motor in the dildo end vibrates pretty strong, almost all the way up to the ball. I wondered how easy this would be to hold onto for very long if your hand was vibrating as much as your g-spot!

Trying this wand out for the first time, I started with the dildo end. The vibrations on even the lowest setting were quite strong. Rubbing it between my labia felt wonderful, and I found myself quickly getting very turned on. As an insertable, however, I found it to be a little awkward. It's a little broad to use without more foreplay, and it was a little difficult to hold and direct. I found that the only way to do this was to hold onto the ball at the top, which pivots a little bit, so it doesn't really provide a great hand-hold. Also, the vibrations are still quite strong near the middle of the toy, so holding it, there was difficult. To be fair, however, I got this as a possible alternate for my traditional wands, so my mind really wasn't on the dildo end.

I switched the power to the ball end and pressed it against my clit...oh my! I found it easy to hold and maneuver and forget what I said about this, not seeming to be as powerful as my other wands. The intensity of the vibrations is literally toe-curling, hip-thrusting, pure pleasure! In no time at all, I was moaning and gasping with joy.
