Missles Away

This is a great first time vibrator for someone that is may be embarrassed or afraid of venturing into the sex toy world. It's pretty, feminine, decently powerful, and you can play with it in the most private of places - the shower!

Use

The water missile would definitely be good for a first time vibrator user. The shape is not overtly phallic, and it is a small, semi-discrete piece of plastic. At first glance I don't know that someone would notice it if you walked through a room without paying attention.

The motor is more near the tip, though the vibrations still can be felt in the shaft. I prefer it for clitoral stimulation only, though you could use it internally at an extreme angle to hit your g-spot. A huge bonus, and the reason I asked to review this toy, is that it's waterproof, so shower and tub play are A-OK. My favorite use for this is in the shower.

Material / Texture

The material didn't really smell, and the plastic feels standard. It has a pearlized look but I can't tell if it's mixed into the plastic or if it's more like paint. If I had to guess it looks more like it's mixed into the plastic so it shouldn't chip, but only time and use will tell. Even though it is small it has a decent weight and doesn't feel super cheap in construction.

Design / Shape / Size

The design of this toy is feminine and more on the inconspicuous side. As I said before I don't think this toy would stick out too much if you left it out or even put it in a pen holder - I suppose it could pass as an odd pen light. It's not intimidating to look at especially for beginners and it doesn't have a general bullet/rod shape that a lot of beginner toys have.

The ripples and creases were very nice externally, though I couldn't feel them as much inside. The variation in shape was very nice when using the toy clitorally.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The vibration is controlled by a turn dial at the bottom of the toy, which seems pretty standard for toys of this type. The vibration escalates from low to high depending on which way you turn the dial. It is not terribly easy to turn one handed, but that might loosen up with use.

This toy is moderately noisy but I would use it in the shower rather than in bed and have the water sound cover some of the buzzing. It would probably be heard through a closed door if it wasn't covered with blankets and pillows or buffered by music, so this probably isn't the best thing if you have roommates.

Care and Maintenance

You can wash this toy with soap and water, and since it is waterproof you can submerge it while doing so. It does have some crevices near the pinpoint nub, and around the other ripples, that are difficult to clean if you are not paying attention. Using an old toothbrush or something else that can get into cracks to clean it thoroughly is best. I managed to use my nails to get the stubborn stuff off pretty easily and continued washing the body.

Packaging

The packaging was appropriate for the toy in terms of storage, but the design was a little lacking. The packaging was a plastic form molded container, that can be recycled or thrown away. This toy had the standard half naked woman on the packaging, looking sultry, but at least all her sensitive bits were covered. I think she was wearing some sort of lingerie so it wasn't completely tasteless. There were just enough instruction to show you how to insert the batteries. Figuring out how to use it is up to you.

Experience

I used this toy in the shower, and I think that is one of its better uses. There aren't many truly waterproof toys that you aren't afraid of breaking in the process of using them, so this one is a good inexpensive but effective toy. I wish wish wish that this toy had more power. It took me forever to orgasm with it.

If you need more power, but don't mind something a little less feminine, I would recommend the Titan Waterproof Vibrator from Vibratex. That toy turns on and off though, and does not have escalating vibrations, so I recommend the attachments to diffuse the vibrations a bit.
