Review of Posh O probe - Vibrating butt plug

The Posh Silicone O Probe is a vibrator made by California Exotics. The shape of it, including its tapered tip and flared base, leads me to believe that it was designed to be used anally - though it can also be used vaginally, clitorally, or on any other sensitive area of the body.

With a diameter of 1 1/2" at the widest point, this toy is best for people who've already experimented with anal play a bit and feel they can handle a toy of that size.

This toy is made of silicone. This pleased me, as California Exotics isn't exactly known for making body-safe toys. It's important for toys to be body-safe and nonporous, especially those that are going to go in your butt, so I'm happy with their material choice.

It's a nice silicone formulation. It has a bit of squish and not too much drag.

The whole toy is smooth, not textured, which I like because my butt is sensitive and doesn't like ridges or bumps.

The best thing about the design of this toy is the fact that it's firm at the tip and squishier toward the handle. I have no idea how they managed to do this, but it's brilliant, because the base is squishy enough to be comfortable at the anal opening but the tip is firm enough to be inserted easily, even with one hand.

The only thing I don't like about that feature is that the handle/base's squishiness might not be super safe. It could be sucked into an ass fairly easily, especially if it were lubed. For that reason, I wouldn't recommend this toy to beginners. It would probably be best if you had a partner on hand who could help you pull the toy out if it accidentally got sucked inside.

The body of the toy is curved, presumably to hit the prostate or G-spot - but the handle is positioned in such a way that it tends to rotate in order to fit more comfortably between the buttcheeks, so the toy ends up sideways most of the time. That's why this toy is probably better for masturbating with, rather than wearing as a butt plug for long periods of time.

The shape and size of the body of the toy are ideal for an anal toy - not too big, but not too small, and very easy to insert and remove.

The bullet vibrator inside this toy didn't come with the battery it needs, and I didn't have one on hand, so I swapped out the bullet for a different one from my collection. The vibrations don't transmit super strongly, but they can definitely be felt and they feel pretty good.

As with most bullet vibes, this one is controlled with a one-touch button. It's easy to use, including when the toy is nestled in your ass.

This toy is silicone, so you can wash it with soap and water for everyday cleaning, and boil it (without the bullet vibe inside) when you want to disinfect it.

It should be stored so it's not touching any other toys. I like to wrap mine in a small plastic bag to keep it safe.

This toy should only be used with water-based lubes. I've found Sliquid Sassy Booty to be the best because it's water-based, thick, and long-lasting.
