This vibrator is best used for it's intended purpose: as a clitoral stimulator with an attached but very short insertable piece. It does great for stimulating the clitoris, but it doesn't reach my normally easy to reach "g" spot. It feels very nice on the nipples and when run like a finger vibe over the anal area. The insertable portion is very short, as I've mentioned, and it's very pliable making inserting it anally problematic. The good news is, when covered with a condom, it's not possible to "lose" this toy. Inserting the bullet end requires a bit more care as the mushroom looking bit can straighten out and could potentially be sucked in, particularly if it's slippery with lube. All in all not a good choice for anal play in my opinion.

This is great for anyone looking for a simple bullet sleeve that is slightly less porous than a jelly sleeve. It uses a bullet that is long and thin like the one that comes with the Bullet Buddy by PHS International.

The insertable part is fairly large on the mushroom-y end but not enough to scare even the most timid user, it's very soft and forgiving. The Pearl Dreams Lover seems like it would be rigid from the picture but it is very soft and pliable, all of the rigidity is provided by the removable bullet. It is great for solo pleasure and it's also fun to share with a partner, provided you take the necessary precautions to prevent bacterial infection.

I would recommend this toy as a warm up to partner play, or as a solo toy.

The Pearl Dreams Lover's sleeve is made from TPR making it phthalates free, hypoallergenic, and latex free. It has no appreciable smell or taste and feels soft and plushy. It is a bit sticky feeling but I didn't notice the sleeve picking up large amounts of "flurf" which is a bonus.

There are small nubs on the pad of the vibrating portion and on the head of the mushroom portion. They add a very nice level of stimulation elevating the sleeve to yummy over it's smoother counterparts. The nubs are rather firm but not painfully so. Even the most sensitive lady parts won't be irritated by them. The nubs on the mushroom were easily felt when inserted vaginally and the lighter vibrations transmitted to that part were lovely when paired with the clitoral stimulator.

The TPR provides a soft and slick surface that glides over the skin when properly lubricated. It is very clitoris and frenulum friendly. It can be used to stimulate the prostate from outside the anus, if your guy is lucky enough to be able to feel external stimulation on his prostate.

This toy would be good for beginner toy users as it's very user friendly, discreet,and generally non-threatening. Even advanced users will find this is a great quick release toy that also shines when used to tease a partner.

This toy is uniquely shaped and very visually pleasing. I love the purple color, it's not too girly and won't offend "manly" sensibilities. :) It is small, only about 3 1/2 inches long (bullet included) and about 3 inches wide when measured across the mushroom shaped portion. The "finger pad" nubby bit that is the vibrating portion is about 1 inch by 1 inch giving you plenty of room to swirl the nubs across the area of your choice. The mushroom shaped head is about 1 inch around (rough approximation) so it's substantial but not huge and provides a very slight amount of stimulation from the nubs covering it. The "arm" of the mushroom bit is not long enough to make this a good toy for "g" spot stimulation as it's just not long enough at only 2 1/2 inches. Add into that the fact that it doesn't carry vibrations strongly nor is it rigid and you get a very lightly stimulating piece that is good when combined with the clitoral stimulator. It does feel somewhat good resting on the testicles while stimulating the penis but it could just as easily become rather irritating.

If your "g" spot is close to the opening of your vagina then the bullet portion might feel lovely running over it, mine isn't so it didn't do much for me in that respect.

The removable bullet has 2 speeds which is a very nice surprise.

The size of this toy is great for beginners and advanced users alike. It just isn't threatening and doesn't have a learning curve. It does a good job as a stimulator and the higher quality materials make it appealing to those of us who can't use jelly toys or jelly like materials. This would be a good first toy.

The toy is very easily hidden virtually anywhere and depending on the bullet used can be very quiet. As it is the bullet provided with the toy isn't terribly loud but on highest setting could be heard through covers and a closed door, on lowest setting it could be heard while under the covers but not from outside the door. It would travel very well and be inconspicuous even when traveling by air.

The package states that this toy is intended for external use only but as it's waterproof I think this is just to comply with the odd laws concerning sex toy sales than it is a real safety concern. This toy COULD slip inside the anal cavity if the mushroom shaped arm gets stretched out while inserting the bullet so use extreme caution if you choose to play this way.

The bullet is removable but can get stuck due to suction. The TPR is very soft and pliable making it easy to peel back the sleeve to remove the bullet for cleaning purposes. The design of the toy makes it tear resistant leaving me with the impression this will be a sleeve that will last a good long time.

The bullet has two speeds, the lowest speed is deeper and more thrumming than the higher speed. On the highest setting the bullet is higher pitched and more buzzy. On the highest speed it is about as loud as you would expect a bullet vibe to be. The vibrations are located in the tip of the bullet and are carried through the rigid portion of the toy. The mushroom shaped arm doesn't carry the vibrations very strongly but it is suitable for a very sensitive user as it can provide a slight stimulation clitorally or on the nipples. The rigid portion has a pad of nubs that carry the vibrations easily and feel lovely on the clitoris, nipples, penis and anus. Pressed firmly or held lightly it feels good!

The controls are located on the bullet's end and are push button making it very difficult to accidentally change speeds or shut the toy off during play. To shut off the toy you must cycle through the speeds, but since that is only three clicks it's not bothersome. The package warns that you must tighten the top of the bullet tightly and they aren't kidding. It will not work if it isn't firmly attached, you might need to play with it a bit before it will actually turn on.

The Pearl Dreams Lover is waterproof and works like a champ in the shower. I'm not comfortable completely submerging my toys in the bathtub so I haven't tried that. The porcelain of my tub can amplify the sound of vibrations making it sound as though I am using a jackhammer in there, with kids this leads to all sorts of uncomfortable questions. I avoid the situation by using the toy in the shower where the noise is a bit more muffled.

This toy takes 1 AAA battery and still delivers on the vibrations. It isn't a battery hog, I've used it for hours and it's still on the original battery.

The Lover is made of TPR making it easy to care for with hot water and soap, a commercial toy cleaner, or toy wipes. Use care when cleaning the nubs as they can trap lube or bodily fluids as well as bacteria. You could also use a condom over the toy to make clean up much easier and extending the life of your toy. The nubs and bumps on the toy can easily be felt through a moderately thin condom so an ultra thin would not lessen the sensations much at all.

The package suggests that you wash the product both before and after use, a good recommendation at that!

Use water based lube only with this toy and store it in a plastic baggy, toy pouch or the package it comes in. Some TPR toys don't play well with others and can melt into nasty shapes!

I recommend removing the bullet before storing the toy, as well as removing the battery to prevent leakage. The bullet can become difficult to remove due to suction so before inserting it dust the sleeve inside with cornstarch. The cornstarch will also absorb any dampness helping to prevent molding or mildewing.

The Pearl Dreams Lover is packaged in a plastic clam shell that is very easy to open. It has an insert that is fairly discreet and colorful. There isn't a picture of a half naked woman or any other sexually suggestive pic on the insert, just a lovely rendition of the name of the toy with a stylized pearl necklace. It points out the best features of the toy and the name of the company that makes the toy. There is a wealth of information on the back of the insert including the website of the company and a website to register the product.

They toy could easily be stored in the package it comes in, and still be discreet. It would be lovely to receive in it's original package.

I was disappointed at first to discover that the bullet that came with my Pearl was apparently broken. I put the battery in making sure it was positioned correctly and pushed the button...and nothing happened. I tried jiggling it, putting the battery in the other way round but nothing worked. Finally I went and got the bullet from my Bullet Buddy and tried it out. It worked but I was bummed because this toy's bullet was supposed to be a 2 speed version. After I started to write my review I was playing around with the original bullet and I twisted the lid tighter than I would normally. Imagine my surprise when it buzzed to life! It does indeed have two speeds and works like a champ now. The two speeds elevate this toy to a whole new level of play.
