The Slender Sensations is a vibrator by Cal Exotics. With its interesting design and compact size this toy is a great addition!

USE

This vibrator can be used for internal and external stimulations. Though it is great for clitoral stimulation, it does not have the proper shape to really hit the G-spot. Also, this toy is very thin, so while it can be used for some internal stimulation, it may not bring you to orgasm if you require width. For those without a vagina (AKA men) this toy can be great for stimulation to the scrotum or penis, as the vibrations aren't overpowering. Also, this toy can be used to stimulate the nipples or on the outside of the anus. You do not want to insert this toy anally, though, because there is no flared base or handle.

PACKAGING

The toy came in a plastic casing which was easy to pull open. The front shows a model in a sexy purple dress and basic key facts about the toy and the Cal Exotics logo. On the back are more details of the toy along with the typical warnings.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

This toy is made out of latex and Phthalates free plastic. You can use water based, oil based, or silicone based lubricants with this toy. For cleaning, you can use hot water with antibacterial soap, isopropyl alcohol, or toy cleaner. You can not boil or sterilize the toy. Though it is non-porous, because you are not able to sterilize the toy, you will want to use a condom if you plan to share.

While the vibrations weren't incredibly powerful, they weren't weak, either. Though it did not bring me to orgasm I did enjoy the nubs on the toy. There are 3 bumps or nubs on the end of the toy which add to internal stimulation. They remind me of a rattlesnake tail in appearance! The toy itself is slender and fits in my hand at a total of 6" in length. A whole 5" is insertable. It requires 2 AAA batteries, and does not drain them too quickly. To insert the batteries, you simply unscrew the end and insert them, screwing the top of the battery compartment back on afterwards. The control is a dial-base, and is the same knob as the battery compartment. The toy is a bit see-through, and you can certainly see the batteries inside!

The toy is multi-setting, and has a wide range of vibrations. They are felt best at the tip of the toy but do carry from one end to the other.

You do not want to fully insert this toy under water. While the majority of the toy is waterproof, the battery compartment is not. To me, this is a huge downside in any toy, as I love toys made to join me during bath time. This also means, though, that during cleaning, if you choose to use water and soap, you will not want to submerge the toy.

It isn't terribly discreet, most people would figure out what it is especially if they actually pick it up and look at it. It is, however, great for travel. Because you can easily fit it in a purse or maybe even a pocket, you can take it just about anywhere!

I rated this toy 4 out of 5 stars, and here was my breakdown:
Positive points went to the size of the toy, convenience of inserting batteries and having a dial-base. Negative points for not very strong vibrations from this toy. Also, I prefer waterproof toys, but I couldn't dock points on that one because I ordered it knowing that it was not waterproof. Negative points because to remove the batteries, you practically have to shake the toy, or smack it on your hand to get them to come out!

Overall, I had no real issues with this toy. It was well made aside from battery-removal difficulty. Weaker vibrations tend to happen, as I am a power queen, but this may be just fine for others!

I don't really use this vibe anymore, since there are some that are so much more powerful that I've discovered. It still works perfectly, though, batteries last about the same, and the dial is still functioning.

Removing the batteries never became any easier, though I did get used to having to fling the toy towards my hand to force them out. Overall, the toy still works and gets its 4 star rating, but I've only touched it once since my initial review which was recently, so I could write this follow-up.
