Mood blissful - bullet discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by Breas

The Mood Blissful came in an adorable rectangular cardboard package. The packaging is black, which features cute little rainbow dots on it. You can see the product through the front of the packaging. The front states the product name and the company name. The back of the packaging states the features, material, batteries needed, cleaning instructions, lubricant usage, functions, and company contact information.



The packaging really isn’t the most ideal for storing the product when you’re not using it. It’s a shame too because this is the cutest packaging! You could store the product back in the packaging, but you’d have to keep the plastic insert to hold the contents of the box since the front of the box is open (the window on the front of the packaging is not sealed in plastic).

Inside of the box are the remote, egg, and bullet. There are no instructions with the product, but it is very simple to understand, even for a beginner. Mood Blissful is available in the colours pink and teal. I have the teal coloured, and it’s a gorgeous colour!



Blissful is made of ABS plastic. It is phthalate free and latex free. The plastic seems to have a coating on it, which makes the plastic feel very velvety to the touch. There does not seem to be any drag while running the bullet or the egg across my skin. If you choose to use a lubricant, any lubricant is safe with this toy (oil, water, silicone, or hybrid based).

The remote control is ergonomic and fits perfectly in my hand. The remote has the shape of what reminds me of a very skinny number “8”. The remote is approximately 5 inches in length. The top part of the remote is just less than 1 ½ inches in width (at it’s widest point), and the bottom is just less than 2 inches.



The bullet is 2 ¾ inches in length, with a circumference of just less than 4 inches (measurement was taken from the very middle of the bullet). The egg is the larger of the two. The egg is 3 inches in length, with a circumference of 5 inches (at the thickest area of the egg). The length measurements that I have provided would also be the maximum insertable length. I don’t use bullets or eggs internally, but that is more of a personal preference. If you are concerned about being able to remove the egg or bullet from your vagina, a condom could be used to be able to remove the piece much easier. Also, I wouldn’t suggest using the egg or bullet anally for safety reasons.



The length of the cord from both the bullet and the egg, are 33 inches in length. I feel the length is pretty generous, and did not have a problem with the length while using it.

When you’re ready to use the toy, you’ll need 2x AAA batteries. The batteries are not included. The two batteries are to be inserted into the battery compartment located at the back of the remote control. Once the batteries are in, you’ll need to plug in the bullet, or the egg cord into the top of the remote. Sorry about the blurry photo below, I tried to take a photo of the cord inside of the remote, but this is the best photo I was able to take.



There are 2 buttons on the remote. One of the buttons is a power button, while the other cycles through the 7 functions of vibrating, escalating, and pulsating. I personally prefer the constant strong vibration, though the strong pulsating is nice too. There are moderate to low vibration/pulsations as well, though they don’t do anything for me. The vibrations seem to be more buzzy than rumbly. The buzzing vibrations do tend to make my fingers numb quite quickly, but this could be because I like the strongest of the strong settings. While using the toy, I didn’t notice any heating of the remote or egg/bullet.

I found that the strength of the vibration was stronger in the bullet in comparison to the strength of the egg. I assume this is because of the size. There is a seam that runs down the silver pieces on the bullet and egg. The seam could be bothersome to those who are seam-sensitive, but it didn’t bother me at all.

Blissful is fairly quiet, even on the higher vibrations, but it is not “whisper-quiet”. It can be heard from beneath the covers but not through a closed door. The vroom on the highest vibration setting is around a 4, but this is only for the bullet. As I had mentioned, the egg does not provide as strong of vibrations as the bullet does. Also, for both the egg and the bullet, when you apply pressure to them, the strength weakens. This bothered me a little bit because I need both the pressure, and the strength. Since I have to rate the vrooms of the toy in its entirety, I had to settle on a 3. It won’t completely satisfy the power-queens.

Cleaning the toy is very easy. You can use soap and a damp washcloth, toy cleaner, or toy wipes. If you decide to share this toy, condoms should be used for safety. I store my Blissful in a plastic zip-lock bag, and twist tie the cords so they don’t get tangled.

Overall, it’s a very pretty toy that I’d recommend to those who don’t require strong vibrations along with pressure. It would be a nice toy for beginners since there are escalating, pulsating, and vibrating settings to experience a little bit of everything. Also, it’s simple to use, and you have the option to use either bullet or egg with the remote control. I’ve decided to give it a three out of five because while it’s a nice toy, it won’t satisfy everyone’s needs.

Sadly, Mood Blissful just didn't have enough strength for me. I need both power and pressure, which this toy could not give me.
