Not even the slightest wave of pleasure
Unfortunately I would not recommend this vibrator to anyone. Too bad, because it's so pretty and I really liked the idea of the spiral design. If I could have given it no stars I would have.

Pros
Pretty, nice design.
Cons
Almost no vibrations. Button on bottom doesn't work. Only one level.
I was really excited to try out Doc Johnson's Tsunami Wonder vibrator. It looked so pretty with it's transparent purple swirls. I thought that it could be quite interesting to try. Especially since the description said "Waves of pleasure just keep coming" I don't think so. Unfortunately pretty is all that it is.
The Tsunami Wonder is a traditional vaginal type vibrator. It is made of Non Phthalate TPE, and has a somewhat rubbery feel to it. It's fairly flexible and soft. As I said the shaft is transparent and it is spiral shaped. At the bottom is the battery compartment and a control button, which is made of hard plastic. It screws off to load in two AAA batteries. One thing I found interesting is that there is a removable plastic battery pack to load the batteries in. I really liked that and hope that more companies use this idea in their vibrators. There is also a rubber ring, making the Tsunami waterproof. It comes in a see through plastic box with pretty blue and purple wave designs on it.
Now for the negatives. It didn't work. Well, it worked a bit. I loaded the batteries, capped it back up and pressed the button. There was an extremely mild fluttering type of vibration. Since this is supposed to have three speeds, it didn't surprise me that the first one would be barely noticeable. I pressed it again, but there was no change. So I tried it again, and again, and again, and still nothing. It wouldn't even turn off. I had to unscrew the bottom to shut it off. Frustrated, I thought I would at least give it a try as a dildo. I added some lube, any type will work with TPE, but, alas, this was not good either. It's just too soft and flexible to do much of anything as a dildo.
At least clean up was easy. Just some warm soap and water.

Well after that fiasco I was going to throw this toy out. But hubby decided since it is long and bendy, that it could make for a good anal probe for him. Which it did. He likes the feel of the spirals and that it has flexibility.
I know it's not sterilizable but since he's the only one that's going to be using it, I figured that would be fine. At least it can be disinfected with the 10% bleach solution.
So even though I still don't like it, and wouldn't recommend it as a vibrator, it has been rescued and is being put to good use.

I'm sorry this didn't work 4 you. I've accidentaly put batteries in toys the wrong direction and the vibe worked but not the way it was supposed to. I just thought I'd mention that. Maybe you could double check the batteries and see if it works any better.
Minxy, I did check that. Unfortunately I did put them in correctly.
Sammi, I'm wondering the same thing. I can't believe someone would make something so poorly. Besides it's supposed to have 3 levels and an off feature, which it didn't.
