Not Fond Of The "Fondle"

Another regrettable purchase from Spencer's. Mostly because the one that I bought was broken. Although if it had worked I really doubt that I would have enjoyed it all that much. Even if it did bring me to orgasm it still wouldn't be worth it because of the craptastic material. There are sooo many better items here for the same price or less. Don't waste your time or money on this.

Use

As you might be able to tell by looking at the shape, this vibrator is made for G-spot stimulation. Does it do it's job? Yes and no. I think this is best for those with G-spot that prefer tenderness because the odd pointy tip "tickled" my G-spot rather than rubbed it. Of course you can turn it upside down but the very bendy neck makes it difficult to apply pressure even with the more solidified underside. This may turn you on or get you ready but there's a good chance it won't give you an orgasm. I've heard a few people say that this feels just like a tongue and if that's the case then I'll probably find oral sex to be very unfulfilling.

Material / Texture

What can I say about jelly that hasn't already been said? This is probably one of those toys that people get and then swear off jelly toys forever. Although, it is more rubbery than the standard jelly, Jel-Lee or AguaGel product. It attracts lint but not anywhere near as much as Crystalessence does.

The swirled texture of the lower portion does add a bit of extra stimulation but only when fully inserted.

This smells very weird. Not like rotting flowers, not like rotting anything. More like a strange plastic-composite chemical smell that you probably shouldn't put anywhere near the places that it's designed to go.

What bothered me the most about the smell was that it stuck on my skin. Resulting from even a moment's contact and remaining even after washing my hands. I'd say "Definitely use a condom with it" but that's kind of difficult considering the shape.

Design / Shape / Size

The shape itself is fine but what causes my dislike is the way it was made.

Material: any material as potentially harmful to my vag as this is needs to be in a shape that can easily wear a condom. Yes it is possible to put one on it but application is difficult, as is keeping it on during use.

Bullet: not the standard silver kind but a thinner plastic one right in the middle of what I'll call the neck but is actually just the bendy part that curves in. For this to work as most of us would like it to for either clitoral or g-spot stimulation, the "bullet" needs to be on the end directly under the pointy tip. Instead of a bullet there, it's just a bigger piece of rubbery jelly that I doubt transmits the vibrations very well.As previously stated, the neck is too bendy for me to be able to apply enough pressure to please me anywhere internally.

The size is too small for me personally but would probably be great for beginners or anyone who likes their toys on the less substantial side.

In the overview the handle is described as large, ridged and offers a strong grip. Yes, it is ridged but that's it. I found the handle to be too small and offering a weak grip. The base/handle separated from the body almost immediately and much too easily. On multiple occasions I had to stop so I could push it back together.

I wouldn't say this is any more or less easy to hide than the average vibe. I wouldn't say that it's suitable for travel unless you want everything else in your bag to smell as wonky as this does. The way it looks doesn't scream out its status as a sex toy like my other two do but I doubt that you could honestly convince someone that it's anything otherwise.

Functions / Performance / Controls

First off: mine NEVER worked. Not once. I tried a bunch of different brands of batteries and put them in different positive/negative configurations and I got nothing. No vibration whatsoever. Needless to say, I was tremendously disappointed. You might think that this means that I shouldn't be writing a review of it but I want people to know that they may also receive one that doesn't work. (I'm quite hesitant to buy anything else from Topco Sales)

It is controlled by a rotary type dial in the middle of the base/handle. This couldn't be any easier to turn on, up, or off. However, this convenience poses a problem as well. The dial is so easy to use that you often end up turning it when you don't mean to. If the motor in mine had not been defective, I know that I would accidentally be changing the speed constantly while using it. Some sort of locking mechanism would be a great improvement here.

Even with a broken motor, it was still audible while being used in dildo mode. I blame that partially on my extensive wetness and partially on the material's reaction to said wetness. (I'm totally not joking about this. I have video evidence to prove it.)

Not waterproof.

Care and Maintenance

As with all jelly toys, clean this with warm water & toy cleaner and store in a cool, dark, dry place. You can use either water-based or silicone-based lube with it.

Packaging

The packaging is a clear flimsy plastic tube, that says Fondle is big white swirly letters, with black rubber on the bottom & top. Comes with teeny tiny "instruction booklet" with letters so small that I had to put on reading glasses to see what it said. All it said was "AA batteries - adult novelty only - Topco Sales" and a few other unimportant things.

You could store it in the tube if you want to. I would have if there was more room in my suitcase.

Personal comments

This was on sale at Spencer's for $10. I got the Sportsheets whip and the Joy Jelly from there too but not all in one trip. Obviously I'm never going to buy another "sensual product" from them again.

When the cashier guy was ringing my stuff up, he told me probably three times that I couldn't return it. At the time it seemed weird but now I think I know why:
a)because it was on sale,
b)because he knew it was a piece of junk, or
c)because he was assuring me that they won't want it back after it's been in my cooch.

Experience

Since the motor was dead to begin with, I used it a couple times as a dildo. Personally, I like something with a bigger, stiffer end that can press against my cervix rather than a little pointy, bendy tip like this has. That's probably a lot more than you ever wanted to know about me but I'm just trying to be helpful.

Too bad the motor was broken to begin with Sad face I've never bought a "sensual product" from Spencer's, but most sex toy shops I've been to will pop in tester batteries and make sure the electric components work before you pay (they also take lingerie out of the package to make sure all the pieces are there). Maybe Spencer's should start doing the same, or you could demand the cashier show you that it works before purchasing it? Of course, avoiding Spencer's may solve the problem too Tongue out

Wow! I also purchased a night moves vibrator from spencers a couple of years ago. I bought the "Night Crawler" and it totally sucked! It was painful! The material was an awful rubber material that made it even worse. The rubber stuff was already unglued from the "stick" it was crapily glued on and as soon as I took it out of the package, it was unglued at the bottom! I used it several times, every time I had a great amount of discomfort. Needless to say, it's been sitting, collecting dust in the very bottom of my box for the past 2 years! I hated that thing so much that I steered clear of all toys until recently! The one before the nightmare night moves was a hard plastic pink vibe that I paid way too high for from Spencer's and I hated it as well. It was painful! It caused me a lot of abdominal pain. If you're the least bit sensitive to hard products and tend to experience any internal pain, those 2 will for certain do you in! I will NEVER purchase a toy from Spencer's again!
