Midnight Delight - rabbit vibrator by Fantasy toys - review by Not here

If you thought the smell of dick can be foul, you've yet to meet the Midnight Delight. Upon opening the package, it's overwhelming odor practically knocked me over, and after over a month, it STILL reeks like crazy. The offending material, PVC (Polyvinyl chloride- also referred to as Jelly) also cannot be sterilized, which means wearing a condom is a must. This is a huge turn-off in my book because I REALLY hate condoms, so it lost points right off the bat.

I was actually a bit excited about receiving this vibrator when I saw that it was assigned to me, because of it's decent size,- 4 1/4" insertable length, 8 1/2" total length, a 5" circumference and 1 1/2" diameter- appealing shape, and variety of functions. However, I was quickly disappointed in it's abilities. The Midnight Delight boasts 4 functions- Rollercoaster, vibrating, escalating, and pulsating, with a low, medium and high setting for the basic vibration mode . While it gives a valiant effort, the design just isn't that great.

The clitoral stimulator is both under-powered and awkwardly shaped, making it virtually useless. The vibrations just aren't able to travel through it to pack a big enough punch.. it's more like a slight tickling sensation. This problem is also prevalent for the vaginal/g-spot stimulator. While the vibrations are quite powerful, they simply cannot make it through the shaft to provide ample stimulation. After about a half hour or so of trying to get off with this vibrator, I gave up and grabbed a trusty little bullet instead.

The controls, which are at the base of the vibrator where the battery compartment is located, are also difficult to maneuver. It is very easy to turn off by mistake, because the buttons all feel the same in the heat of the moment. They tend to be a bit sticky, and have to be pushed somewhat hard in order to switch through the functions.

The Midnight Delight requires 3 AAA batteries which will last for approximately a half hour of use. They can be replaced by unscrewing the compartment at the bast of the vibrator, which can be a bit frustrating trying to insert and remove them.

While I stated earlier it cannot be fully sterilized, of course it is very important to clean after each use, even when using a condom. Warm water and a mild soap will do the trick, or use an antibacterial toy cleaner. I prefer to do both, but either method will work just fine.

Now for the redeeming qualities.. PVC, or jelly is compatible with both silicone and water based lubes. This vibrator is also waterproof, so if you are able to get any stimulation from it, you can bring it pretty much anywhere. The material is also very pliable and soft to the touch, which makes it a good option for beginners.

While I still don't use this toy often at all, I have a better appreciation for it, just as long as it isn't turned on! It is much better used as a dildo than a vibrator because the vibrations simply weren't powerful enough to be satisfying in the least. Last time I used it, my boyfriend used it simply as a dildo and was able to stimulate my g-spot rather well. I still wouldn't buy it given the opportunity, but it has redeemed itself somewhat in my book.
