Not super-charged, No good for G-spot

While the Tera Patrick's Super Charged G-Spot could be a decent beginner vibrator for someone who is fairly sensitive and wants something small and simple, there are better beginner vibrators for lower prices.

Use

The Tera Patrick's Super Charged G-spot Vibrator failed to live up to its name for us. It was more effective as a clitoral vibrator and had a nice curve for massaging the outer labia. We also had success with using the point to target specific muscles and allowing the gentle vibrations to relax the muscle. Its claimed "Ten Levels of Infinite Vibration, Pulsation, and Escalation" were far from impressive, and also this count is misleading as the first three and the last three are the same settings (Low, Medium, and High). The lowest setting is a very mild buzz that was soothing and slightly sleep-inducing.

Material / Texture

This vibrator is made of a shiny, smooth plastic. The red finish had several tiny scratches in it on arrival and seemed to easily peel with any rough contact, making us fairly apprehensive. The glossy plastic is very hard, so it is not forgiving. Also, the tip of ours was not smoothly finished, but we couldn't tell with use of lube. Because it's made of smooth plastic, it's very easy to clean. However, it is not completely waterproof, so I wouldn't completely submerge it.
It smells vaguely of burnt plastic, but it isn't strong or offensive.

Design / Shape / Size

At seven inches long, this vibrator is fairly cute and easy to store/hide. It is fairly slim, so if you're going for girth this won't do it for you. It's beginner friendly, as the highest mode of vibration is not very strong. The shape of this vibrator didn't work for us for its marketed purpose. The tip comes to a fairly small, hard point, while the shaft is straight, smooth, and fails to add any sensation. The tip, designed to stimulate the g-spot, wasn't at the right angle for either of us, and I don't think the tip is curved enough to very effectively stimulate. However, someone with a different body type may find more success than we did.

Also, the lack of give in this vibrator plus the pointy tip made using it rather uncomfortable if too much pressure is applied, but because of the low level of vibration more pressure must be applied to stimulate the g-spot. We couldn't find a happy medium.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The vibrations travel throughout the vibrator and are controlled by a single on/off button at the base, which you also use to change the setting of the vibration. To get to a specific setting, you have to press the button until you cycle to it, which can be frustrating. The button has to be pressed fairly firmly to change the setting, which is somewhat awkward if you are in the middle of using the toy and want to change the setting.
This toy was very quiet even at the highest setting; when in use, I couldn't hear it when I was standing outside the room, or when it was being used under a blanket.

Care and Maintenance

This toy is plastic and splashproof, so it is easy to clean, though you cannot submerge it in water completely. The batteries should be taken out when not in use to prevent them for wearing out too quickly.

Packaging

This toy was packaged in a simple plastic cover that opened easily; it included a set of instructions, which appeared to be for all vibrators of this company. We had a little bit of trouble figuring out how to insert the batteries (positives on the bottom), as the vibrator itself had no indications, and the instructions had no diagrams in it that matched our vibrator.

Follow-up commentary
Tera Patrick's super charged G-spot vibe has failed to impress us. The red coating is showing even more scratches and wear, even though we have stored it well and rarely used it. When we do take it out, laughter rather than pleasure ensues. Spend your money elsewhere.
