The toy should not be used anally because it does not have a flared base. The vibrator can also be used to stimulate other erogenous zones, such as the shoulders, neck, nipples, etc.

The toy can be used with or without the sleeve.

If using the toy with the sleeve, only water-based lubricants should be used. If you use the toy without the sleeve, you can use water or silicone based lubricants. Both silicone and plastic are good materials because they can be sterilized. Neither toy nor sleeve had any scent or taste.

The material and texture of the toy would be suited for most toy users. The user has the option of using the toy with out without the sleeve. This allows the user to choose if they want the quilt-like texture or no texture at all. The texture on the sleeve is not intense. Beginners would be comfortable with it, as it’s non-intimidating in appearance and feel. The material would be appropriate for anyone, because both plastic and silicone have a very high safety rating. The coated plastic has a 7 out of 10 safety rating, and the silicone is a perfect 10 out of 10.

Key Charms Plush is available in two different colours: raspberry and blue. The base of the toy is a silver colour, and the toy, beneath the sleeve, is black. It’s a small toy in both length and circumference. The total length of the toy is just over 4 inches and the insertable length is just less than 3 5/8 inches. The circumference of the toy when the sleeve is on it is approximately 3 1/8 inches. The top of the sleeve tapers to a smooth, curved point. The circumference of the toy without the sleeve is approximately 2 1/2 inches.

The size of the toy is beginner-friendly. It’s very easy to use, easy to control, and the design is non-intimidating. The vibrator is very simple to use. There is only one button, and it is located at the very bottom of the toy. To turn the toy on, press that button. You’ll be met with a constant vibration. Key Charms Plush has a total of 5 functions for the user to choose from. To cycle through the patterns, just continue clicking the button until you find your favourite.

3. Escalating from low to high
4. Medium pulses
5. 2 medium pulses, 2 quick pulses, and repeat


At any time, you can turn the toy off by holding the button down for a few seconds. When you turn the toy off and then back on, you’ll be back at the first function, regardless of where you had left off. Having only one button, Key Charms Plush would be appropriate for both beginners and advanced users alike. The variety in functions also makes it an appropriate choice for just about anyone.

The vibrations can be felt throughout the entire toy, but are most prominent at the top. Surprisingly, the vibrations are quite strong! The vibrations are a 4 out of 5 vroom level, though they are in between rumbly and buzzy. The noise level of the toy is not “whisper-quiet” like the packaging states. When you use the toy externally, the noise level of the toy can be heard from beneath the covers, and also through a closed door if there is no background noise. You may want to look for quieter options if you have a living situation that requires noise discretion. When using the toy internally, it is a bit quieter. It can be heard through the covers, but not through a closed door.

The toy is waterproof, so it is really easy to clean. The quilt-like texture needs a bit of extra attention when cleaning, but this is really easy to do since the toy can be submerged in water. The toy can be cleaned with soap and water, toy wipes, or a toy cleaning spray. The sleeve can be fully sterilized. Wiping down the sleeve with a bleach/water solution or rubbing alcohol will sterilize the sleeve. This is important to do if you plan on sharing the toy. You can also sterilize the sleeve by taking it off of the toy, and boiling it or putting it on the top rack of your dishwasher.

With the sleeve being silicone, it should not be stored directly beside/on other silicone toys. The toy can be put into the cardboard packaging to store it, or it can be put into the included drawstring pouch. The toy does not collect lint or pet hair as badly as other silicone toys, but it should still be cleaned both before and after each use.

The toy arrived packaged in a rectangular cardboard box. The box is sealed with plastic when it arrives. The front of the package states the product and company name. The back of the packaging states a number of product features, measurements, materials of product, a brief product description, and the company website. The top of the box slides off. You’re then left with a black box that opens like a book. When you open the front flap, you’ll see the toy sitting inside in a piece of foam. The toy is adorable, but it doesn’t have the earth-shaking, powerful, rumbly vibrations that I need. The vibrations are in between rumbly and buzzy. This means that the 4 out of 5 vroom rating is less powerful for me than a 4 out of 5 vroom rating for a toy that has deep, rumbly vibrations. The power level of the Key Charms Plush should satisfy most users, but not power-queens. For myself, this would be a nice warm-up toy.

I've given the toy a 4 out of 5 rating because, while it wasn't intense enough to completely satisfy me, it's a nice toy, and most people will be content with the power it provides. I also love that it's waterproof, has a variety of functions, the texture of the sleeve, the fact that the sleeve is removable, and it's an excellent material. It wasn't the key to my heart, but it'll definitely get some use as a warm-up toy.
