Not Very Shocking

The Splash Shock Battery Powered Massager is a great little waterproof toy that I recommend for warm up. It has the potential to get off those with sensitive clits, but I found its power less than shocking.

Use

Like any wands this one is best used for general clitoral stimulation, but can be inserted with care (for those of us who like girth). It has 3 vibration speeds and 7 vibration patterns. It can stimulate any area of the body, but is designed for clitoral and labia stimulation. I have found it to be great for general body massage, as I don't find it strong enough to produce an orgasm in a reasonable time. My vagina goes numb before I can reach orgasm because the vibrations are not strong enough for my liking.

Material / Texture

The Shock Body Wand is made out of silicone and plastic. The silicone bits are smooth, but with some drag. The entire toy attracts crazy amounts of lint. From the silver ring down, it is made of soft plastic. The neck of the toy is incredibly flexible, which is great for applying more pressure and getting it in that awkward angel without hurting your wrist. I find that the more pressure you can apply the better, because, like I said before, the toy doesn't produce strong enough vibrations.

Design / Shape / Size

The design of the Splash Shock Battery Powered Massager is your standard wand with a bit more plush feeling and a slightly more flexible head. It works great for its intended purpose and the flexibility enables you to get your sweet spot without cramping up your arm! I enjoy the plushness of the material because it doesn't feel like I'm digging a hard piece of plastic into my clit (I'm looking at you original magic wand!) The size is ergonomic as well, and is one of the few things that makes this a go-to toy. The handle is tapered making it easy to find a grip that fits your hand and it's small, which is great for people like myself who have tiny hands. As for travel this wand doesn't come with the option to lock it, so take the batteries out. But hiding it in your suitcase shouldn't be an issue as it is small and fits well into hiding places.

Functions / Performance / Controls

As I mentioned before this wand has three speeds and 7 vibration patterns. To turn the toy on you press the power button, and then you press the power button to cycle through the functions. This toy does not have a memory so every time you turn the toy off (long press the power button to do this) you must cycle back through the functions to get to the one you enjoy. If you accidentally turn the toy off while on setting 7 in the middle of a masturbation session, you must turn the toy back on and press the button 7 times to get to your desired setting. This can be irritating, but with a little practice and awareness of the button, you shouldn't have too many incidents like the one I just described.
    • Easy to use
    • Lots of variety in function
    • Multiple settings

Care and Maintenance

The box says that this is made from silicone and abs plastic. These materials are some of the easiest to clean. Just a little mild, non-scented soap and some hot water go a long way. I personally use Doctor Bronners unscented, all natural soap on all of my toys. This toy can also be used with a variety of lubricants. I recommend testing silicone lubes on an inconspicuous part of the toy before completely lubing it up. I also do not recommend using oil lubes internally, this is just asking for a yeast infection or uti.
Follow-up commentary
At first, I loved this toy. I used it a lot, and while nothing has changed about the toy, I have found that it's too slippery and the vibrations don't do much for me anymore.

By too slippery I mean that when used with lube or when I am turned on enough to produce a good amount of personal toys, I find it difficult to keep this toy in place. Furthermore, the neck of this toy, which I loved in the beginning, is too flexible for my liking. It seems like the more often I use the toy, the more accustomed I become to the vibrations and the more pressure I need to apply. But with the flexible neck and the slippery material, I can't get the pressure I need.

That happens sometimes with toys. You love them and then they get a little stale especially when you get something a little better.

I've found that to be accurate with most toys. The only two that I haven't gotten over are the Penguin 2 and the Tango,
