After taking this toy out of the box and turning it on, I was very unimpressed by the noise level. This toy is very loud! You can definitely hear it from underneath the sheets and through a closed door. This toy uses 2 'N' sized batteries which means when you need to replace them, they can be difficult to find, and are pricey. There are 3 play settings, vibrating, escalating and pulsing. To cycle through them you must press the button on the control bit, and they go through the setting sequentially. To turn it off you must press and hold the button for a few seconds.

I found this toy to be way too powerful to be used on the clitoris directly. Though, powerful might not be the word the vibrations themselves are not very powerful or intense, but the frequency of them make this toy very uncomfortable to use. It tries to make up for the lack of power in the frequency of the vibrations. I did not trust the cord attached to it to insert it fully into my vagina. The only cord that's attached is the cord used for controlling it, and while it seems fairly strong, a few tugs on the cord and it wiggled where it was attached to the egg, not very comforting! The control cord is not very long, which means whoever is controlling the egg has to be rather close. I did not find it comfortable to control it myself at all.

The size of the egg itself is not bad. It could be a bit big for beginners to insert, and it could be a bit small for those who are more advanced. However for those of us who are right in the middle there, this seems to be a decent size at 4.5 inches around. I was disappointed that this toy is not waterproof, I feel that they could have easily made it waterproof, therefore bringing the fun level up.

As this toy is made from plastic it is very easy to clean, just make sure you don't submerse it in water or cleaning solution to clean it as it is not waterproof. I found the best way to clean mine is to take it apart and use a washcloth. I make sure to completely take it apart as there is a small gap where the 2 halves of the egg come together where fluid can collect.

I recently got a cover in the shape of a turtle, that can go over this. I found that, this makes it very nice to use for external stimulation, especially on my clit. The softness of the turtle adds that little bit of cushion that I feel this was missing for external use.
