This arrived in the mail in a discreet brown box. Inside, it was in a small box with some instructions on the back. This came with the remote and USB charging cord also. So I pulled Hot Affair out, and my first thought was the soft, smooth feel to it. I also loved the smaller slim size. The head of this is also super flexible, which is great. I loved all the little nubs on both ends of this too. The bigger, bottom part also had grooved swirls around it, which I assume will add to the pleasure. The remote is small and basic. It felt really nice in my hands and felt smooth. I did try to slide the back off and had issues, so I know I'll end up needing my husband for that. All in all, I couldn't wait to get this charged up and give it a try.

After looking this over, I put Hot affair on the charger. The power button started flashing once I plugged it in. Once it was fully charged it stayed lit up. It took about 25 minutes to charge for the first time. After it was finished charging I went to go through all the functions. I held the power button down for 3 seconds and the light came on, then I pressed it again for it to vibrate. I began cycling through the functions, I grabbed the remote, and just clicked it and it worked right away. I was slightly confused on how it worked and then decided to read the directions on the back of the box. So, there are two separate motors in Hot affair, one for the upper and one for the lower. A quick press on the top button turns it on, then underneath is an up and down arrow button, if you click and hold the top part, it'll turn off the top motor, and if you hold the bottom part in, it'll turn off the bottom motor. So you can control the two motors separately with turning them on and off and choose which vibration pattern you want separately. You can't do this with just the toy, so you'd need the remote for it. Also, you can turn the motors off with the remote, but the light will still be on, so you'll have to hold the power button on the toy in order to turn it off. There are 10 different functions, vibrating, escalating, and pulsating. You can use the remote up to 30 feet away also.

Once I had that all figured out, I washed Hot affair with soap and water. I had a pair of boycut panties on and slid this in there. So further use with this has been both, solo, and with my husband. I really love using this while just doing things around the house or watching TV. The two motors are very close in intensity. I would say the smaller narrow part does carry more vibration, surprisingly it's also quieter than the wider part. There are quite a few vibration patterns and different intensities. I would say it's beginner-friendly and also great for advanced users.
