Persnickety penguin - strap-on vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by All Smiles Here

After always having the daunting task of either having my hubby hold my vibrator or holding it myself, I finally got the courage to try a strap on vibe. After doing a little bit of research, I saw the Persnickety Penguin vibrator and knew that this would be the one for me.

Once I got my new toy in, naturally I wanted to try it out. I placed the 2 AA batteries into the hand held controller and stood there staring at my new item. My first reaction… straps, wow… let me figure this out. After pondering for a moment, I placed the waste strap around me and slid my legs into the leg openings. Did I have it on right? The penguin did not sit where I had imagined that he would be sitting in order to give me the wonderful clit vibrations that I had hoped for. I found that this vibrator sits way too high up. I made a few adjustments and finally got the penguin in the general area that I needed it to be in. I laid onto the bed, ready for a mind blowing experience. Well, I was sadly disappointed. Having the penguin base on my clit and the soft beads hanging below him gently resting on my vaginal lips a mild vibration began. I turned the toy up all the way and could actually hear more than I felt. The material that the penguin is made of was too thick to really give a stronger vibration… it was only a tickle. The hanging beads did just that… hung there. I could feel nothing with them. On the belly of the little guy there are these little ridges that are supposed to be stimulating ticklers. In my opinion, they are more for looks than anything.

The overall design of the Persnickety Penguin vibrator is ok. The hand held controller has a nice, long cord that allows you to be in any position and use the dial while the straps are made of a pretty good quality of material. They are adjustable and have little snaps to make it easier to put on and take off. The vibe itself is a very thick jelly like material that is terrible to clean. The supposed stimulating ridges on the belly and the hanging beads are almost impossible to get cleaned off properly.

This toy could be alright for someone that has a very, super sensitive clit area but I was not impressed. When my husband came in and ask if I wanted to use it I politely declined… I guess this can be another addition to my ever growing toy box.
