Platinum in Pink

The Bunny Kiss has indeed become platinum! A nice upgrade from their previous version, this one has multiple patterns, is more cleaned up, and has more attention to detail. I wish they made it in silicone! Other than that, it's a perfect gift for a friend!

Use

The Platinum Edition Bunny Kiss (Bunny Kiss for short) is a strong, yet beginner friendly G-spot vibrator. Along with the signature curve, this toy also has a clitoral stimulator in the shape of a bunny. This little bunny is also an upgrade from California Exotics's previous butterfly and bunny kiss toys.

The Bunny Kiss is pretty darn strong and offers dual stimulation. The bunny ears are designed to stimulate the clitoris. The shaft of the toy is quite flexible, so if you prefer firmer toys, this one won't be for you. This toy is great for solo use as well as couple's play. It would also make a nice gift for someone. The Bunny Kiss also has a little bit of texture, making it a good introduction toy for it. The Bunny Kiss is also a discreet toy. It is not that loud, so it can be used if you live with others. Even if you have a roommate, you can even whisk this away into the shower since it is waterproof.

The Bunny Kiss is not intended nor designed for anal play. The material cannot be completely sterilized, making it unsafe for such use. However, if you throw a condom over the toy, you could insert it anally since the bunny part of the toy acts like a flared base. Still, there are better toys out there for that.

Material / Texture

The Bunny Kiss is made out of TPR, or thermoplastic rubber. TPR is a microporous material that manufacturers like because it is easy to mold and work with. It also is a pretty long lasting material compared to jellies and other rubbers. It ranks a 7 out of 10 on the Eden Safety scale, which is not the best but still pretty good. Because it is microporous, it degrades faster than silicone and good plastics, but lasts longer than jelly and rubber toys. This is also why is should not be used anally or shared without a condom.

There is a slight scent on the Bunny Kiss, but you have to put your nose to it to detect it. There is also some texture present on the toy. It has vines and leaves that curl up the toy. The texture is only slightly raised. It is present, but not extreme.

The Bunny Kiss is also very flexible. The head of the toy has some firmness, but the neck is quite malleable. This is good for ladies who either don't need firm stimulation or are just getting used to G-spot stimulation. There appear to be no wires or electronics in the shaft or head of the toy, so I don't see a limiting factor when it comes to bending it.

Overall, the Bunny Kiss is beginner friendly, but more advanced users might appreciate this one too.

Design / Shape / Size

The Bunny Kiss is more for ladies who prefer smaller toys or beginners. Size queens may pass this one up. The total length of the Bunny Kiss is 7 inches with an insertable length of 3 inches. This is generally enough length to stimulate the G-spot. Again, the shaft won't give you very firm stimulation, so be warned. Still, it should hit the right spot for most ladies. It's also a bit on the thinner side coming in at 3.75 inches in circumference.

The Bunny Kiss is easy to travel with; it can go in a bag or larger purse easily enough. In terms of noise, the Bunny Kiss is louder in the air than it is when inserted. At its highest and outside the body it is close to 3 Bees. If you put it inside before turning it on, it's about 2 Bees. Still, some music or background fan noise will keep you from being heard.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Bunny Kiss has one button that does it all. It serves as the power button and cycles through the vibration patterns. There are a whopping 9 settings on the Bunny Kiss. They are:

1. Low Vibration: 3 Vrooms
2. Medium Vibration: 3-4 Vrooms
3. High Vibration: 4 Vrooms
4. Four Pulses, repeat: 3-4 Vrooms
5. 2 Short, 1 Long Pulse: 3-4 Vrooms
6. 3 Short Pulse, then 1 Long: 3-4 Vrooms
7. Long pulses: 3-4 Vrooms
8. 5 Short, 1 Long Pulse, repeat: 3-4 Vrooms
9. 2 Paired, Short Pulses then 1 Long: 3-4 Vrooms

The Vibrations are more rumbly than buzzy in nature. If you do hold the toy in your hand, though, it will start to get numb. This toy is strong enough for most users. The motor is located between the base of the flexible shaft and the bunny. Still, the vibrations travel well.

The only thing I don't like about this toy is that there is not quick off button. You have to cycle through the settings to turn the toy off. It's not a good situation if you are afraid of being walked in on. The Bunny Kiss is waterproof and has an o-ring to protect the battery cage.

Care and Maintenance

Cleaning is pretty average for this toy. Soap and water, toy wipes, and toy cleaner are all good options. When cleaning, take extra care around the vines and bunny. These are the places where debris can collect. The TPR can collect a bit of fuzz and lint, but it's not horrible. It probably looks worse if you get a darker color, but it's not bad on the pink. If anything, you can wipe the toy down before use.

Once dry, the Bunny Kiss can be stored in your general storage away from silicones and jellies (silicone so you don't damage the coating, jellies so you don't contaminate the toy). Both silicone and water based lubricants can be used with this toy.

Packaging

This toy is packaged nicely. It's not discreet since there's a picture of the toy, but it's not the standard sex shop snap-shell packaging. The box is opaque and made of a thin cardboard or card stock. Open the box and the toy is inside a plastic bag. The box is pretty descriptive and describes the traits of the toy. There are additional instructions that show how to install the batteries in the toy.

This would make a great gift, the packaging is far from sleazy. The box can technically be used for storage if you have the space.

Experience

I've had experience with the Butterfly Kiss, an older version of the 'Kiss' toys by Cal Exotics. I still liked that one, but the platinum edition, while a bit more expensive, is worth the price tag. The butterfly kiss is still a good option if you don't need additional patterns and don't mind a slightly more prevalent seam around the toy. I want to say that the Platinum Bunny Kiss is also stronger than its predecessors, but it could be because my older toy is, well, old.

There is a difference between the Bunny Kiss and Butterfly Kiss, the main difference being the animal attachment. There is a platinum edition of the Butterfly Kiss available as well (soon). They both work well. Either the antennae of the butterfly or the bunny ears will hit your clitoris.

Thank you for the review!! I've been debating between this and the original Bunny or Butterfly "kiss" but it sounds like this version is more bang for your buck!!
