Royal rabbit - rabbit vibrator discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by Astia

I remember greatly anticipating the arrival of my very own royal rabbit by Cal Exotics. I also remember being greatly disappointed when I used it. As a rabbit vibrator I had hoped that it would perform its intended functions, but everything about this toy just seemed to line up wrong. Of course, it could just be incompatible with my particular anatomy, but there are a few other more universal sticking points as well. Basically, if you're looking for a best friend in this toy, you may want to exercise caution.

This rabbit is made of TPR silicone. It is compatible with water based lubricants and should be kept separated from your other silicone toys. It has a cord extending directly from the base to the control pack which uses 2 AA batteries. Its got little nubs all along the edges of the head and swirls everywhere and while the overall effect of the textures combined is somewhat pleasurable, it didn't really feel like anything special or different. There is very little texture on the rabbit part other than his cute little arms and feet.

To be perfectly honest the first thing that drew me to this toy was its striking purple color and ... aquatic texture. The head of the thing reminds me of a crustacean. To me this toy is a design flaw incarnate. There's no really great place to hold the toy during use. It's not very long or thick and the rabbit doesn't line up very well. The color's pretty and its interesting to look at, though.

The control pack functioned pretty well...for a while. After about a month the heavy duty sticker covering the actual buttons for the controls came off, making it very difficult to operate. That could have been my fault though. Before that happened the controls were straightforward. The vibrations diminish too quickly for such a short little toy and are entirely too loud for how strong they are. The variety of functions partially makes up for that shortcoming. Perhaps the best feature of this toy is that it has an incredible battery life.

To clean any TPR silicone toys, use warm water and antibacterial toy cleaner or mild soap. Use only water based lubricants and store this toy separately from any other silicone toys to avoid them fusing themselves together (not a fun thing to deal with, trust me).
