This toy is a blast! If you have ever played with the original wired version of the Venus Butterfly, you will certainly appreciate this one just as much. This toy is perfect for solo play, couples play, or can even be worn during sex. The toy itself is actually waterproof, so playing in the shower, tub, or pool is perfectly acceptable. Just don't get the remote too close to anything liquid. While it seems like it could withstand some splashing, we tend to avoid even the possibility of breaking our toy by frying the remote.

On to the more technical stuff. This toy REQUIRES lube for use. The texture of the toy is simply too sticky even for the most aroused female on the planet (or at least the ones that I know). As a TPR Silicone toy, water based lubes should be utilized during use. Toys manufactured from TPR Silicone should be cleaned before and after each use with warm water and antibacterial toy cleaner or a mild soap (a quote from Eden Fantasys).

One of the primary differences between this toy and its predecessor is the lack of a tail. For those whom have played with the older version, the wired version has a beak in the front to stimulate the top of the clit while having a bent tail to stimulate the bottom. Because of the wireless antenna, you lose the tail. The ribbed nature of the toy, along with the fun antenna, still provide plenty of stimulation for even the most difficult to please (maybe not if you need a Hitachi to get off, but everyone else).

The toy uses watch batteries in the wireless bullet and an A23 sized battery in the remote. These battery sizes can be annoying, but if you are like us, we have found a variety of battery suppliers on the web so that we can keep a steady stock. The batteries will last a good 2-4 hours before you will need to replace them, depending on the quality of the batteries that you use. Be sure to take the batteries out when not in use, as it seems to drain the batteries just to have them in there. This is a multi-pattern toy, so you are able to get a variety of different pulsing patterns aside from the plain low, medium, and high found on the old wired toy. The range is realistically in the neighborhood of 10 feet depending on the situation and your battery life. There are situations where it could last longer, but if you are looking for a super long range toy, this is not the one.

In general, this toy is a great all around toy for anyone from beginner to advanced, solo or couples. The straps can be difficult to adjust at first, but once you find the sweet spot, you are good to go. If you want to have a fun evening, give your partner the remote and do some chores or something. It can make for a fun way to get in the mood.

Still an awesome product. Certainly still one of our go-to wireless toys, and for the money, it is a great buy. Now that we made the leap and purchased a Lelo Tiani, I don't see this toy getting as much use, but we still like it and will keep it around for some fun times in the future.
