Jesse's petite treats - bullet discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by Ajax

Jesse's petite treats is purely a clitoral stimulator. It's too small to be used effectively as an all over body massager and too small to be used internally. I suppose it could be used to tease your nipples, but for me personally it was too strong to be enjoyable on the area. This is a small toy that works well for masturbating and is also perfect for slipping between two people during sex. It is not water proof and should not be used in or near water.

Both the bullet and controller of this little set are made of hard smooth plastic. I find that plastic transfers the vibrations a lot better than most other materials so I think its a great choice for the bullet. The knob of the controller has a bit of texture to help you easily get a grip when changing the speed and turning it on. The bullet itself isn't completely smooth as the center where it was sealed together sticks out a bit on one side and is a little rough. It's not something that was noticeable when being used, but some people might find it irritating.

I really like the design of the bullet on this toy, but I think it would be better with a slightly larger bullet. It is the smallest bullet I've ever come across - only about 1 inch long and 1 inch around. It's small size allows it to fit exactly where you want it to. The little bullet has a wire coming out the end that allows it to connect to the controller. The wire is a little more than 22 1/2" long which gives you a bit of move room. It's not permanently connected like most wired bullet vibes, but instead plugs into the controller with a jack just like on the end of a set of head phones.

The controller has a shape that reminds me of a giant peanut with a spin dial control on the top and the door to the batter compartment on the bottom. The battery door slides open like a converter would, but there is no chance of you loosing it because it is attached to the device. The battery terminals on this toy for some reason are a little messed up. Both of the springs are on the same side, but the batteries DO go in opposite ways. There's a little plus and minus symbol on the inside of the toy so you'll be able to know which is which if you look.

I think that the design of this one is pretty discreet (minus the big doc Johnson label printed onto it). If someone were to only see the controller it could easily be mistaken for a cheap little radio or music player.

For such a simple and small toy, this one worked surprisingly well. Since the vibrations are concentrated in such a small area it feels very powerful. Jesse's petite treats only has one vibration setting which can be increased or decreased in power by turning the dial on the top. The dial turns very easily (maybe too easy), but the increase is so slight that I didn't notice much of a change. The dial is marked to show you which way to turn it, but the marking is hard to see since it's the same colour as the rest of the device.

Along with being a fairly strong clit vibe, it is also a very quiet vibe. From behind a closed door you can't hear it and under blankets someone in the same room as you would be hard pressed to guess what was going on.

When your done using this or if you plan to take it with you somewhere I would advise taking the batteries out or you might end up with dead batteries very quickly. There's no way to lock the dial so even the slightest nudge could turn this on.

Hard plastic is very easy to care for and clean since it's non porous. It can also be used with any type of lube.

You can wash the bullet with warm water and soap, but your going to have to be very very careful. There's not a whole lot of room to hold on to the bullet while cleaning and water can easily get in the bottom where the chord is attached. I think a toy cleaning wipe would work the best with this toy, but if you don't own any just be careful not to get water inside. If the controller needs to be cleaned you can wipe it down with a damp cloth. You obviously want to be careful not to soak the controller in water either since water could easily get inside of the controller. That also means no dishwasher for this toy.

You can store this pretty much anywhere you want, but taking the batteries out before hand is a good idea.

This came in a simple plastic clam shell package. The name of the toy is at the top in some big crazy lettering and there's a picture of a girl on insert inside. The package provides a lot of hype about the toy (which thankfully it pretty much lives up to) and there's a paper inside that tells you how to put the batteries in. The battery instructions aren't specific to this toy however and are pretty much useless.

I'm kind of on the fence with this one. I like it and it brings me to orgasm most of the time, but it seems like it has as many cons as pros.

The wire makes it very easy to hold (you can pinch the wire or wrap it around your finger whatever is easier), but if your hand or the toy gets covered in a lot of lube it's going to slip from your grasp no matter what you do.

I do like the fact that I can slip it between me and the boyfriend during sex and it doesn't get in the way at all. When our bodies are pressed together it stays in place pretty well. I absolutely loved it the first few times because it allowed me to get off quickly multiple times, but I found that after a while I kind of got used to the vibration (a little numb even?) because it is strong and constant with no variations. When that happens I just set it aside, play with some other toys and go back to it later (sometimes hours, sometimes days).

It's one of the stronger bullet vibes I've tried (probably because of the size) so it's quite nice in that respect, but because it only has one vibration pattern there's no way to change it up and it can get old fast. Sometimes I find that my hand gets a little tingly if I hold onto this too long, but it's nothing that makes me want to stop using it.

I do wish that the bullet was a little bigger because it just doesn't cover enough area for me. It would definitely benefit from a little more variation in the speed and vibration patterns. It turns on far to easily and it's also a little hard to clean.

Side note: there are other Doc Johnson products that use the same and/or similar controllers so if you owned a few of them I assume you could easily interchange the toys with the controllers. Which, would be pretty sweet, especially if you accidentally lost a controller or something.
