Orgasmic teardrop bullet - bullet discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by Fanny

This toy was great when I first got it. I don't like egg vibrators that are hard plastic (they tend to make me numb very quickly) but I need a toy that can put out very strong vibrations. This toy, with its little jelly hood seemed perfect! Sure enough, it gives off relatively strong vibrations and the little nubs on the jelly sleeve feel great! However, over time a few things have changed and I've noticed a few problems.

First of all, the control for the vibrations is terrible. It needs to have an "on/off" switch. Currently, the thing is controlled by a dial which controls the intensity of the vibrations. When the dial is turned all the way down, this is "off", however it's very difficult to KEEP it off. If you even touch it the dial can move out of the "off" position and start vibrating! This can be semi-embarrassing if your bedside table starts noisily vibrating next to you and your lover before you've gotten the chance to introduce the two of them! The only way to ensure that this doesn't happen is to take out the batteries, which is pretty annoying.

After having this toy for a few months, a few other things began to deteriorate. First of all, the jelly sleeve ripped pretty quickly. A small tear turned into a giant rip and the thing that I liked most about the toy was gone! It only lasted about two months before the small rip, and from there it went very quickly. Also, the noise that the toy makes has gotten substantially louder than it was when I first got it. This is something that I've experienced with other eggs, so I wasn't too surprised, considering that this toy was only $12.99.

As for the pros, again, I really liked the jelly sleeve. The little "feelers" felt awesome! Also, the teardrop shape of the bullet seemed to make it a little easier to use during sex. Sometimes a larger oval shaped bullet is harder to wedge between two bodies and make connection with the clit. This little teardrop shape seemed a little easier.

Though the toy has a few problems, it's definitely been great for the time that it lasted. I love the jelly hood, and the vibrations were strong enough to get me off every time. For its price, I think that it's a decent toy.

I've just retired my Orgasmic Teardrop Bullet, after being used for around five or six months. (I just got my Siri by Lelo and don't really need the teardrop anymore). After half a year of use, the jelly sleeve is destroyed. I stopped using the sleeve about 3/4 months after my purchase of the toy. Also, I didn't mention this in my review, but the sleeve also lost its color. it used to be a pretty pink color and now its just sort of a weird clear/dirty looking color. I wash it regularly, so perhaps I washed away the color! However, toys should be able to stand up to regular washing. Anyhow, I still liked this toy. It's relatively inexpensive and while it lasted, it got the job done. It was my go-to toy for almost 6 months and, if I didn't have such a fantastic replacement for it (the Siri), I would be sad to see it go!
