I surprised a friend with the Dual Glow. She is not a huge fan of internal vibrations from vibrators. So I thought this might be a nice change. Upon opening, we charged up the Dual Glow up with the USB charger. I'm a huge fan of USB rechargeable toys. Smaller chargers, compatible with my life, and no battery waste.
Once we turned it on, we were both mesmerized right away by the thrusting feature. Neither of us had seen anything like it. We played with the three button controls to get the hang of things before inserting it into her. As we were getting familiarized, the toy became quite warm to the touch. I had forgotten this toy was advertised as heating up to 108 degrees Fahrenheit! I did not spoil the mood to go to my garage to get the infrared temperature gun, and while 108 sounds pretty hot, it was not even close to uncomfortable to the touch.
We both agreed that the warm silicone had a soothing feeling on the skin. And she found it quite inviting as we inserted the Dual Glow into her. I engaged the thrusting mode, and she was in awe. Overall, that was the star of the whole show. However, the compromise and my biggest criticism of the toy is that the thrusting motor is fairly loud. It does get muffled when inside the vagina and under a blanket. But this is not a quiet toy.
Another great feature of this toy is the rippling thumbprint on the head of the vibrator. Of course, it is strategically placed to stimulate the G-spot. Which it does quite well. This has my curiosity piqued for sure. Did you find it tricky to clean at all? My experience with ridged (and especially thrusting) toys is that they are often a little harder to clean than your standard silicone vibe. -
The ridges do add an extra element to consider when cleaning, but the grooves are spaced widely enough that it cleans easy and you can get a visual to ensure the area is clean. I don’t think I spend any extra time cleaning it versus a more standard shape.
