TPR falls within the middle of a materials safety scale of 1 - 10 with one being the least safe material and 10 the safest. Because of this rating, Stellar Vibe Venus is somewhat porous. The material is also known to be Phthalates free, non toxic, Latex free, and Hypoallergenic. Since it's not of the safest material, I highly recommend using condoms when sharing Venus.

And the texture, outstanding. Do you like lots of intense texture? If so, you will want to add Stellar Vibe Venus to your vibrator collection. Due to the size or girth and the extreme texture, I recommend those new to vibrators choose something simpler unless you really are ready for these intense features. More experienced users who love lots of texture and a bit larger than average girth will be quite pleased with Stellar Vibe Venus. Also, using solo is probably the most comfortable use for the vibrator.

Stellar Vibe Venus is designed with several features that includes varying girth, ridges, and smooth texture. The tip of the head is smooth and rounded and gently increases in girth with evenly spaced ridges moving down the head. Just below this area is a smooth narrower neck. From there, the shaft widens a little but is still of less girth than the largest area of the head. And all of this area is covered with ridges evenly spaced as well. The bottom of this section reaches about halfway down the vibrator. Moving on down the shaft, a section begins that is the widest area of the vibrator which is also covered with ridges evenly spaced. Just below this part of the shaft is a smooth narrower area that ends with one ridge. And the remaining length of Venus is the handle.

Stellar Vibe Venus is not discreet. The size and shape definitely says sex toy or vibrator. I wouldn't feel comfortable having visitors with it lying out in view. I keep it put away so there won't be any awkward moments. Also, Venus isn't travel friendly because its appearance is that of a sex toy, vibrator. And the size requires some space in a travel bag. Venus is best left at home unless you are traveling alone or with your lover.

Stellar Vibe Venus has multiple speeds of vibration. With continuous turning of the speed dial, the speed increases beginning with the lowest speed working up to the highest speed. There are no distinct settings for the speeds. They just increase as the dial is turned. Also, the vibrator speed dial is at the off setting right before the first turn of the dial to begin the vibrations. Again, there is no noticeable click or other indicator at the off position.

The vibrations are felt throughout the shaft of Venus but are slightly more concentrated in the head. The lowest vibrations strength are rather weak. And at the highest vibrations level they are fairly strong. But they aren't as strong as several vibrators I have. If you are really into power, than this is not the vibrator for you.

The power/speed dial is part of Stellar Vibe Venus' battery cap. This is at the very end of the vibrator. All it takes is a simple twisting of the battery cap for it to open the battery compartment. Once the battery cap is removed, the O-ring that ensures the vibrator is waterproof is visible. Two AAA batteries are required to power Venus. Just pop them in, screw the battery cap back on, Venus is ready to offer you it's unique experience.

Wash Stellar Vibe Venus in warm soapy water. You can also use toy cleaner if you prefer. Be sure to thoroughly clean in-between each of the ridges. I find using a soft bristle toothbrush works well for this. Since the material Venus is made of is TPR, it is not possible to sterilize it with boiling water. That is why it's recommended to use condoms when sharing the vibrator.

You can use either waterbased or silicone lube with Venus. I would take care in storing the vibrator since some other materials could melt onto it or bleed colors onto it. I like to protect all my toys so I store each one in a baggie, pouch, or the original packaging. Be sure to remove the batteries to prolong their life when storing the vibrator. And as always with any toy, store it out of direct sunlight or heat.

I like texture, but I found the texture of Stellar Vibe Venus to be too much for me. If the girth was less than 4", I think the texture might have worked better for me. Also, I didn't find anything special about the vibrations or the strength of them. I need strong vibrations internally for most enjoyable vaginal experience. And, I much prefer patterns unless straight vibrations are intense. I did like the soft and flexible material, though. And, although I like to take good care of my toys, I really don't want to put so much work into getting into each ridge for thorough cleaning.
