This is a great toy for those who like a little size. It's big and it's bold so if that's what you are looking for, this might be the toy for you. The clitoral stimulator was a strange shape for me, but I think this is going to be a regular in my rotation of toys.
When I got the Waver Ocean in the mail I opened the box and the first thing I noticed was the size. It's big.... in a good way, I think. I get out 4 AA batteries, popped them in and started to check this guy out. When I turned it on and saw the waving motion in the shaft, I was really excited to see something a little different from all the other toys I have used.
The power is great in both the shaft and the clitoral stimulator, but the shape of the clitoral "wave" was a little different than any of my other toys. It comes to a point and is supposed to concentrate all the vibrations at one point. The power is pretty good, but I think that personally I prefer the rabbit or butterfly style, where it has two small parts that kind of tickle.
The shaft of the Waver Ocean is ribbed with a waved pattern. There is also a little bit of a ribbed pattern on the clitoral stimulator. The TPR material that it's made of has a nice feel to it, and really doesn't have much of a smell at all. There was far less smell with this toy than many of the other toys I have. After 2-3 washes I really couldn't smell anything but the toy cleaner.
Because of the material and the waving motion the "cover" over the shaft is not secured to the waving mechanism. With most of my other rabbit style vibes the circulating mechanism is secured in the material that the vibe is made from. Because of this, in the heat of the moment when the vaginal muscles contract a little more it started to make a weird, almost flapping sound. It wasn't too distracting because this toy is so loud anyway, but it was a little weird and took me a minute to figure out what it was.
This is one of the larger rabbit style vibes that i have come across. The insertable length is 6 inches and the circumference is 5.5 inches. With the battery pack, the total length is 11 inches long so it's not a small toy and might be a little harder to hide or take along. Also because of the size, i wouldn't recommend this product for a beginner.
The shaft of this rabbit style vibe is a little different than most. Instead of swirling in a circular motion, this guy gives an up and down waving motion. You can change the direction of the wave to roll towards you or away from you. I think the waving motion is a nice change from the standard swirling motion. I didn't feel much of a difference between direction of the waves, so for me that function is going to be a little useless.
The shaft and clitoral stimulator both have 3 speeds: low, medium and high. It's got enough power to it, but it is a little loud. If you are trying to be discreet, this is probably not the right toy for you. In the heat of the moment when your muscles contract around the shaft it gets even louder.
The package says that it's waterproof, but I have not tested it out fully submerged. I'm not a big fan of bath time fun, but the waterproof feature does come in handy when cleaning. You can really make sure your toys are clean without worrying about getting water on the internal bits.
When taking this guy out of the package I was very pleased with the lack of a smell. I did get really close and give it a good sniff. There is a slight plastic-y odor, but nothing like some other toys that I have used and after 2-3 washes it was pretty much gone.
The waver ocean is made of TPR. It cannot be disinfected so please use a condom when sharing. Cleanup is easy: Use warm water and a toy cleaner or anti-bacterial soap.
The instructions included with this product say that water based lubes should be used with this toy, as oil based lubes will corrode the toy.
The toy itself is covered in a shrink wrapped plastic and is secured in a plastic housing tray that slides out of a cardboard box. There are instructions in several languages tucked into the box as well. You could gift wrap this box with no problem. You could store the toy in the package as well, but i don't really know how long it would hold up. Also, I think storing it in the box would be a little bulky.

One of my favorite dual stimulation vibes. I love the strong vibrations and the fact that it has a little more girth to it... many of the dual vibes I have tired don't have that extra girth that I love.
