My partner and I chose the tongue-shaped "tickler" version of this toy for a very specific purpose. One day we were watching porn that included analingus, and we both ended up admitting that we were turned on by the idea of receiving it, especially with tongue penetration, but not too excited by the thought of getting down there and providing the service ourselves. We both quickly thought of looking for a toy that was a similar shape and texture as a tongue to use as a substitute. We were interested in finding one that was stiff enough to provide shallow penetration, but still be flexible enough to "sweep" along the skin like a human tongue. After considering several other toys we chose this one.

The tickler version of this toy has a pointed, flexible "tongue" that is about an inch and a half long, followed by a shape that is sort of like lips. The lips and tongue are part of a sleeve that contains a relatively powerful bullet vibe. This toy would be a great choice for people who like to use bullet vibes for focused vibrations, but want a little cushion to diffuse the buzz, or for anyone who is looking for an inexpensive and pthalate-free tongue substitute.

Made of TPR silicone composite, the tickler is of medium firmness - firmer than the average jelly toys, but more flexible than some silicone toys I own. It was completely odorless and tasteless. The end of the pink "tickler" model sleeve is shaped like lips, and a pointed tongue. The tongue was approximately the right firmness to simulate a person's tongue. It is just firm enough to use to penetrate a bit, but flexible enough to bend and be drug along the skin if you apply some pressure. The surface is completely smooth, with no texture.

This toy is palm-sized, only about one and a half times as long as a plain bullet vibe. It would be easy to toss into a handbag or suitcase, but I'd recommend taking out the batteries first, since it is possible to bump the on/off button hard enough to turn it on. The only design element that I wish was different is that the tongue portion of the sleeve is quite narrow.

If it was a little bit wider, it would be perfect. Even though my partner and I planned to cover it during play, we chose this toy over similar jelly toys because it is made of pthalate-free material. There is a small amount of tiny pieces of glitter embedded in the sleeve material, but it's not too noticeable unless you are really looking closely.

The vibrator included in this toy runs on four watch batteries and is fairly powerful. It is turned on and off with a touch button, and has only one speed / power of vibration. It is easy to turn on and off, and it's not too easy to bump the button by accident (although it did happen a few times while we were playing with it).

If you get tired of the sleeve that you chose, you can remove the bullet vibe from the sleeve to use alone or with other sleeves. The bullet itself has a clear hard plastic shell. When the vibrating function is on, it is about as loud as a cell phone vibration, and a little bit quieter than my electric toothbrush. It is definitely not loud enough to hear from behind a closed door.

This toy is advertised as waterproof, but we haven't taken it near the water. Looking at the toy, it seems reasonable to think it's waterproof, and I wouldn't be afraid to take it in the shower if I thought I'd use it there.

Since this toy is made of a composite material including silicone and other ingredients, it is safest to use water-based lubes with it, since silicone lubes might possibly react with the material. Unfortunately, since the toy is not 100% silicone you can't boil it to sterilize it. The easiest care for this particular toy is to clean it with soap and warm water between uses, and to use a condom or toy cover if sharing it between partners or orifices.

The toy came in a small, innocuous clear plastic package, with a blue image/pattern showing lightning and water swirls, to emphasize the waterproof feature and the "power" of the vibe. There was a small paper included that showed how to install the batteries in the vibe. It comes with 8 watch batteries (the vibe uses four batteries at a time, so they've provided one spare set).

We chose this toy specifically to use to simulate analingus. Even though safe sex is sexy, we were not excited about using big dental dams for oral-anal contact, and we didn't want to do it without protection. If you can use your imagination this toy is a great alternative. The whole toy can be placed inside a condom for clean and safe stimulation with the "tongue", and your partner can use their actual tongue for dirty talking while stimulating you, if that's your thing.

I tried it first alone as a clit vibe, and to see if it was good for simulating cunnilingus. It was okay. Attempting vaginal penetration with it was as unsatisfying for me as the real thing, since both the toy and real tongues aren't that long. The vibration was interesting, but it's not a reason to choose this toy over any of the other bullet/sleeve combos out there.

For us, this toy was perfect for our fantasy anal stimulation and penetration play, because of its unique flexible tongue shape. The toy is small enough that you can use it one-handed, but there's enough to the tongue that you can feel it going in and out. We got each other pretty worked up using the toy in the ass, and the other hand for stimulating other areas of the body.
